After an intense season watching former contestants cook their hearts out on MasterChef Australia, the 2025 grand finale is finally upon us.
Back to Win was an epic season, with incredible cook-offs and even better judges.

Fans were even treated to a Poh reunion with Julia Goodwin. The pair competed against each other in the very first season of MasterChef.

When is the MasterChef Australia grand finale?
Good news! The winner of MasterChef Australia will be announced on Tuesday, August 12 at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
The grand finale will also be a special two hour episode.
Who are the MasterChef Australia 2025 finalists?
It was a tough season, with the competition beginning with a staggering 24 contestants. Now, only two contestants remain.
The two finalists are Laura Sharrad and Callum Hann.
Laura has previously competed on MasterChef twice, placing second in both season six and season twelve.
This is also Callum’s second time heading into a grand finale, having placed second in season two, but fourth in season twelve.
Monday night’s episode on August 11 was the semi-finalists, where Jamie Fleming was unfortunately eliminated from the competition.
Who was predicted to win MasterChef Australia 2025?
While the winner of MasterChef won’t be revealed until the night, many fans have taken to social media to share their love for a particular contestant.
Many fans showed their love for father-of-three, Callum, when the final three were confirmed.
“Team Callum…..he is very creative and knows when to experiment and when to play to strength,” one wrote.
Another commented: “Callum you better take that crown home!!! It’s overdue.”
In a recent interview with TV Tonight, Andy Allen revealed that the network filmed “multiple endings” to prevent the final results from leaking.
“It’s the only way to get a true winner,” he told the publication. “You can try and contain the 200 people, I suppose, with friends, family, crew, if you wanted to gamble it.”
“But I think there is so much on the line with this show.”
Who won MasterChef Australia: Back to Win?
The odds were in her favour in the grand finale: after coming second twice, Laura Sharrad won the MasterChef Australia title!
“Are you sure?” she asked when Andy announced her as the winner. “This is the most surreal feeling in the entire world. I’m truly so proud of myself.”
Andy says that Jock, her mentor, would be so proud of her and “lives on in your food.”
