The beloved culinary show My Kitchen Rules is back for 2023, with a fresh lineup of contestants ready to compete for the $100,000 cash prize.
Renowned chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge have returned to co-host and judge this season, which promises to showcase some truly phenomenal food.
As always, Manu and Colin will first travel across the country to meet Australia’s most passionate home cooks – real people, cooking real food, in their own homes.

Then back at Kitchen HQ, Manu and Colin will be joined by Nigella Lawson, and the contestants’ abilities to work under pressure, adapt to new cuisines, and collaborate effectively as a team will be put to the test.
If you’re as excited as we are to tune into My Kitchen Rules 2023 (and hear Manu say, “Where’s the sauce?”), read on to find out everything you need to know about the new season, which started airing on September 4 2023.
Who are the My Kitchen Rules contestants?

Tommy and Rach
Tommy and Rach are friends who have a self-described “complicated” relationship. The pair are from Western Australia and have boasted that their scallops are simply delicious.

Radha and Prabha
Identical twins Radha and Prabha, representing New South Wales this year, claim that they can “read each other’s minds”. The sisters are going to whip up dishes that pay tribute to their late father, and looking at the promos, it looks like Radha and Prabha will bring Colin to tears this season…

Sonia and Marcus
Mother and son, Sonia and Marcus, are representing South Australia this year on My Kitchen Rules. And while the duo fight like cats and dogs, they “love each other deeply” and both love to cook!

Coco and Pearls
Originally hailing from New Zealand and Czech Republic respectively, Coco and Pearls are “confident alpha-women” representing New South Wales. These ladies are self-described as “outspoken” and “critical” but claim to possess exceptional cooking skills.

Nick and Christian
Sharing a love of Greek, Mediterranean and modern Australian dishes, Nick and Christian have been mates for over 12 years. From Victoria, the duo have admitted they’re competitive and are ready to cook up a storm on MKR.

Claudean and Anthony
Husband and wife, Claudean and Anthony, say they’re like “chalk and cheese” but were brought together by “destiny”. Sharing a passion for food, the couple say their signature dishes are Spaghetti and Meatballs and Italian Chicken .

Aaron and Chris
BBQ fanatics Aaron and Chris are one of the three MKR ‘Gatecrasher’ teams. Their respective signature dishes are Smoked Brisket and Crispy Pork Belly, and both are determined to share their love for all things smoke and grill with Australia.

Amber and Mel
Self-proclaimed “dance mums” Amber and Mel are another ‘Gatecrasher’ team. Hoping to add My Kitchen Rules champion to their list of achievements, this “fun” team has been known to break into song and dance while cooking up a storm…

Patricija and Brigita
These sisters from Queensland are the third ‘Gatecrasher’ team this year on MKR. Despite their similarities in looks, Patricija and Brigita say they only have two things in common: the same birth mother and the ability to elevate the humble potato.
