Princess Catherine has stepped out in one of her most beloved tiaras for an official state banquet with the British royal family, honouring the Nigerian President and his wife.
Walking into Windsor Castle was Princess Catherine, Prince William, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence, Prince Edward, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

The Princess of Wales wore a beautiful emerald green gown by Andrew Gn, paired with the diamond and pearl Lover’s Knot Tiara.
While Queen Elizabeth inherited the tiara before gifting it to Princess Diana, it was worn by the People’s Princess so frequently that the Lover’s Knot tiara is undoubtedly tied to her.
Following the event, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a beautiful to new portrait with royal watchers, snapped moments before the banquet.

Princess Catherine wasn’t the only royal who riffled through her archives. The ivory coast Princess Anne wore was seen decades ago in 1969. Originally, the coat featured an embellished collar to match the sleeves, but it seems the coat has been altered since.
Queen Camilla also wore a sapphire and diamond tiara with matching earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth, paired with a cream embroidered gown.

Archival jewels and outfits aside, this state banquet was one for the history books.
The royal family hosted Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife, first lady Oluremi Tinubu. This was the first state visit by a Nigerian leader in 37 years, and the first to be hosted at Windsor Castle.
Also, this was the first state visit in nearly 100 years by a Muslim leader during Ramadan. Out of respect, the formal luncheon usually conducted was skipped.
Notable Nigerian and British-Nigerian figures also attended the state banquet. With William walking in with Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and Catherine with Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Adebayo Olawale Edun.
Earlier in the day, the Prince and Princess of Wales greeted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife at the Windsor hotel. Princess Catherine looked particularly sophisticated in a grey blazer coat dress by British-Nigerian designer, Toly Coker.
