The first sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, was released in 2022 with the third addition to the franchise, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will release in 2025.

Will there be a 3rd Knives Out movie?

Yes! In exciting news, the third film has been confirmed titled, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

However, there are two premiere dates. Wake Up Dead Man will release in selected cinemas on November 27, and premiere to Netflix on December 12, 2025.

What is the plot for Wake Up Dead Man?

Declared the darkest chapter of Rian’s murder mystery, the third movie is Benoit’s “most dangerous cast yet.”

“When young priest Jud Duplenticy is sent to assist charismatic firebrand Monsignor Jefferson Wicks, it’s clear that all is not well in the pews,” the synopsis read.

“Wicks’s modest-but-devoted flock includes devout church lady Martha Delacroix, circumspect groundskeeper Samson Holt, tightly-wound lawyer Vera Draven, Esq., aspiring politician Cy Draven, town doctor Nat Sharp, best-selling author Lee Ross, and concert cellist Simone Vivane.
