What happened in Season 1 of 1923?

Don’t keep reading unless you’re prepared to see spoilers…

The main conflict of 1923 involved a sheep herder named Banner Creighton, who wanted to move his flock onto Dutton land.

Things quickly spiralled into a violent feud — at one point in Season 1, Banner and his men ambushed Jacob and John Sr, leaving Jacob seriously injured and John killed.

Cara was then left to hold things together while Jacob recovered, all while Banner teamed up with a shady mining tycoon to try and take over the land.
