It was 2001, just one year after debuting her solo single, when Pink met her now-husband Carey Hart.
Flash-forward 20 years, the pair are married – despite the rumours – and have two children together.
But it hasn’t been an easy journey for the couple, something they’ve been honest about since the start. Below, we delve into Pink’s family.
Inside Pink and Carey Hart’s relationship:
Pink, born Alecia Moore, met her now-husband at the 2001 Summer X Games, an extreme sporting event featuring skateboarders and BMX riders. Unfortunately, this was the highlight for Carey who was hospitalised after a mid-air trick failed.

They dated for two years before breaking up in 2003, then reuniting a year later.
In typical Pink fashion, who’s never been a stickler for tradition, proposed to Carey during a race with a sign that read, “Will You Marry Me?”
They tied the knot in a beautiful beach-side ceremony at a Four Seasons resort in Costa Rica.
“We wanted [the wedding to be] very fun and nontraditional. We’re spiritual, but we’re not religious. It was about being with our closest friends and family and having a very fun and loose party,” Carey told People at the time.
Wedded bliss remained for almost two years, when her publicist confirmed they were separated.
“This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another. While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger,” they told People.
But by May 2009, they had reconciled and called off their divorce.
Thankfully the pair have a great sense of humour, otherwise Pink performing her diss-song about Carey So What would be incredibly awkward.
In February 2026, a source told People the couple had split which was later denied by Pink.
“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband,” she said in a video shared on Instagram. “I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know. Would you also like to tell our children? My 14- and 9-year-old are also unaware.”
“Do you want to want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise? So fake news, not true. I love you all.”

How many children do Pink and Carey Hart have?
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Pink confirmed she was expecting her first baby with Carey.
“My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail,” she joked.
Pink and Carey welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Willow Sage Hart in June 2011. At such a young age, Willow was a huge “inspiration” for the rock-star, influencing her songs Just Like Fire and dueted Cover Me In Sunshine.
Pink and Willow’s most recent outing was to The Lost Boys musical opening night on Broadway.

“She’s very into musical theater. She’s got a voice, man… she’s a little bird,” Pink has previously said of her daughter’s talent.
In 2016, Pink showed off her growing baby bump to announce her second pregnancy. Little Jameson Moon Hart was welcomed in December 2016.
His name is a combination of important names for Pink, her father James and her brother Jason.
