If you’re looking for some award-winning romance books to add to your reading list, look no further! Each year, Romance Writers of Australia presents the Romantic Book of the Year awards, known as the RUBYs, and the 2025 winners have just been announced.
The RUBYs are the premier awards for Australian and New Zealand writers of romantic fiction, with categories for everything from contemporary romance and speculative fiction (sci-fi and fantasy), to women’s fiction and historical romance. The romance books are judged by a group of volunteer reader judges, with the awards being announced each year at the annual Romance Writers of Australia conference.
