Well, it’s official: the winner of Dancing with the Stars 2024 is Lisa McCune!
During the Grand Finale, Lisa and her partner Ian Waite performed an Old Hollywood inspired Freestyle to That’s Entertainment! from the film The Band Wagon, and earned a perfect score of 40!
Obviously, that score progressed her to the next round where she had to dance off against Samantha Jade and Ant Middleton.
Lisa and Ian went for an ethereal Viennese Waltz to golden hour by JVKE and earned 39 points from the judges.
Then, thanks to the studio audience vote, she was crowned the 2024 Dancing with the Stars winner!
“I’m so thrilled,” the actress said before joking about her new mirrorball trophy: “It will keep my Logies company!”
Lisa was a top contender right from the very start of the season.
She performed a Tango and topped the leaderboard with 30 points in the first episode.
From there, Lisa did nothing but improve.
Throughout the season she performed a Jive, a Quickstep and a Viennese Waltz that earned her 31, 39 and 39 points respectively.
Samantha ended up in second place after initially performing a Freestyle to Christina Aguilera’s Show Me How You Burlesque from the film Burlesque and a 50s inspired Foxtrot to Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off from Shall We Dance in the dance off.
Ant came third in tonight’s Dancing with the Stars Grand Finale after performing a Freestyle and Contemporary.
James Stewart and Nikki Osborne were eliminated after the first round of the evening.
