In it, she describes the devastating days that followed the sudden death of her husband, beloved MasterChef Australia judge and Scottish chef, Jock Zonfrillo, in May 2023.

Lauren also details how hard it was to navigate momentous occasions, like Mother’s Day or her birthday, without Jock there.

“My first birthday without Jock was terrible. I started crying the night before and continued for hours in bed, so I took a sleeping tablet, and then when I woke up the next morning, the tears instantly started again,” Lauren recalls.

Till Death Do Us Part — which is set to be released on May 6, 2025 — is not just a memoir, though. It also serves as a guide for others grappling with grief.

For instance, Lauren offers insightful advice and comfort to those potentially going through the loss of a partner.

“It does get easier,” she says of celebrating those momentous occasions alone.
