A new season of My Kitchen Rules is on its way, with a whole new list of contestants preparing to cook up a storm.
Returning as judges for the 2025 season of MKR are Colin Fassnidge and Manu Feildel.

Colin has appeared as a judge on MKR since 2013; meanwhile, French-chef Manu has starred on the reality cooking program since its first season back in 2010.
With well over a decade of experience on MKR, the duo has undoubtedly seen and tasted it all. They will travel across Australia to eat at the homes of some of the most passionate home cooks.
When does MKR premiere?
MKR is back on our screens on Monday, 1 September, on Seven and 7plus.
Each team will represent a different state in Australia. Coliun and Manu will travel around the country to enjoy (and judge) a home-cooked meal in the contestants’ homes.
So, who are the contestants competing on My Kitchen Rules in 2025?
Channel Seven revealed the first team in August. Continue scrolling to meet the newcomers.

Michael & Rielli
QLD
Michael is a self-proclaimed meat master, while partner Rielli is a baking queen – could they be the MKR dream team?
Channel Seven has teased that the pair will shock the competition with a dish that judge Colin warned could “divide the table and divide the nation.”
What could this dish be? Viewers will just have to wait to discover MKR’s most divisive dish yet.

Lol & Lil
QLD
Lifelong best friends, Lol and Lil, are proudly representing Queensland this year. The vibrant home cooks are stepping out of their comfort zones, particularly Lol, who has never left Queensland or even flown on a plane.
“We’re from Logan, we are fighters, and we’re gonna keep pushing on,” Lol shared.
“We are cute, but we do bite,” Lil said.
Colin described their menu as “sunshine on a plate.”

Maria and Bailey
South Australia
The self-proclaimed “high achievers” and “boss friends” from South Australia are bringing serious heat to the kitchen.
Maria runs her own business, while Bailey oversees five companies; now they are chasing MKR glory.
“We’re here to win. We want to be on top,” Maria says.
Bailey doesn’t mince words: “I don’t care if we have to be really cut-throat.”
Determined to shake up the competition, Maria dismisses traditional Greek food as “boring” and promises fine dining with an upper-class edge — all served from Bailey’s lavish three-storey home, complete with its own lift.
But will they manage to make their way to the top?

Justin and Will
New South Wales
Best mates and so-called “Footy Dads” Will and Justin are on for Game Day, and that game is MKR! They will be kicking off the season on 1 September, 2025.
Justin, a gym owner and foodie with South African roots, started out filming videos for his clients before becoming an online sensation.
Will is a former NRL player for the Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers, who says his “love language is food”.
“We want to make it all the way and win,” says Justin.

Anne and Maree
Victoria
Mother-daughter duo, aka “The Gourmet Greeks”, are bringing love and legacy to the MKR this season. Both major fans of the show, Anne has been wanting to get on the show for 10 years.
Armed with Anne’s mother’s and Maree’s Yia yia’s recipes, the team are hoping to make their culinary dreams come true.
And to Anne, food is more than simply sustenance: “It means family. I want you to feel part of the big Greek family.”

Mel and Jacinta
New South Wales
The “Feisty Cousins” from NSW who are always planning to “stir the pot.” Jacinta has a background in nutritional medicine and likes to surprise meat-lovers with vegan and gluten-free twists.
Whereas Mel likes to dish out the classics. Together, they promise a balanced meal!
