In comparison to Harry & Meghan, there aren’t any bombshell claims or shocking revelations made in With Love, Meghan.
Ultimately, the series just follows Meghan Markle around a beautiful Montecito home as she shares several passions of hers with special guests.
For instance, the Duchess of Sussex makes beeswax candles with makeup artist Daniel Martin, cooks tempura fried chicken with chef Roy Choi, and collects fresh produce from a perfectly manicured garden with chef Alice Waters.
With that being said, Meghan does share several insights into her life with Prince Harry, and their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
She also tells a few amusing anecdotes about her past…

Meghan and King Charles have a shared hobby
The premiere episode of season one opens with Meghan collecting honey from a beehive. It’s then revealed that she loves beekeeping, a hobby that her father-in-law King Charles also enjoys.
At both of Charles’s country homes, Clarence House and Highgrove House, he keeps bees.
The King also makes his own honey.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet love gardening
When Meghan is prepping for a kid’s birthday party with special guest Mindy Kaling, she reveals that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet love gardening.
“Our kids have real sets, they take [gardening] very seriously,” Meghan says when putting toy gardening sets in the party bags.
Meghan loves cooking with her kids
Throughout the series, Meghan says that food is her love language. So it’s really no surprise that she loves cooking with her little ones.
In one episode, Meghan recalls that one summer Archie caught two trout on a fishing trip and Meghan had lots of “fun” salt baking the fish with both Archie and Lilibet.
In another episode, Meghan – as she serves her special guests Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen some strawberry jam – says:
“Lili and I actually made this batch together… She picked berries with me, saying, ‘No, no Mama, I’ll do it.’”
In this same episode, Meghan goes on to admit, “I want [Archie and Lilibet] to have great formative memories of being there with me [cooking].”
Meghan reminisces about Suits
Suits is arguably what put Meghan on the map. So it’s nice that she only has positive things to say about the series.
“I’m not surprised that people are rediscovering Suits because it was so well written and so well produced,” Meghan told Mindy Kaling.
“It’s a time capsule for me — I still have the pencil skirt from the first episode! That’s the one thing I kept.”
Prince Harry makes a cameo
Prince Harry appears in the final episode of With Love, Meghan. He attends an al fresco dinner party that Meghan is hosting for their family and friends.
As soon as he arrives, Harry immediately puts an arm around Meghan and kisses her hello. It’s very sweet.
The Duke of Sussex later leads a toast to Meghan, saying, “To you,” while raising a glass.
We see her kids!
Well, kind of. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet don’t appear in person in seasons one or two of the Netflix show. However, Meghan does share photos of her children. She also confesses that she always packs a photo of her two children in the season two episode seven.
She has a favourite item…from Maccas
Surprisingly, giving her clean-living image, Meghan has one item that she adores from McDonald’s fast food chain: apple pie.
“My love of a little handheld apple pie runs deep,” she shares in episode three of the second season. She used to treat herself to a McDonald’s pie after a good audition.
“I’d go to the drive-through at McDonald’s and buy myself an apple pie. So for me, cooking and food, it’s really the sense recall.”
Meghan shares her love story with Prince Harry
In season two, episode three, the Duchess shares with guest Tan France how she first fell in love with Harry. Tan asked if she ever felt a moment when she realised that she was in love, and she responded, “Yes, that was our third date.”
She then continues with their love story and their time in Botswana: “We met in Botswana and we camped for five days together… You really get to know somebody when you’re in a little tent together.
Meghan also confessed that Harry said I love you first!
She goes on to recount that Harry proposed to her while she was roasting a chicken, and it didn’t come out like they planned, because she had confused Celsius and Fahrenheit! But chicken remains one of her favourite dishes.
“This is a by-heart recipe. It’s a classic, and it’s nourishing, and I have done it so many times that now I can do it with my eyes closed,” Meghan shares. “I roasted a chicken the night my husband proposed to me. Roast chicken is what we served at our wedding. I make it at least once a week.”
Meghan and Chrissy Teigen talk Deal or No Deal
Fun fact, Meghan used to be a briefcase model on the game show Deal or No Deal, and so was Chrissy Teigen! That’s actually how the two met.
When Chrissy is on With Love, Meghan and the two have a few laughs about their time on the show and about how far they’ve come.
“I remember having to stand in line to get our lashes on all in a row,” Meghan says.
“I do remember coming off stage one day, and they held like a Ziploc bag open, and we all took our eyelashes off and put them in there. I was like, are these for… tomorrow? What a time, though,” adds Teigen.
“I left that show, and then a year or so later, you got famous!” Meghan giggles. “I was like, Oh my god, she’s on the cover of Sports Illustrated! How far we’ve come—how’s that for memory lane?”
