In what was supposed to be a quick trip, quickly turns dramatic as Stephen juggles family, past lovers and his career.

During the red carpet premiere in Sydney, Susie who portrays Nikki in the movie, revealed to The Weekly why The Travellers may hit close to home for some viewers.

“It’s a really relatable issue that people of a certain age, if they are lucky enough to have their parents, have to negotiate that last stage [of life] and the siblings go on [to] delegate what needs to be done,” she reflected.

And Susie happened to share the sentiment.

“When they say Luke Bracey’s your brother, Bryan’s your dad and Bruce is the director, I’m not going to say no. I’d never, never say no to that opportunity,” she said.

“To work with Bryan is so iconic, I think this is just such a perfect role for Bryan.”

Perfect indeed because like Bryan’s character, Fred, he also thinks showering fully clothed to clean both himself and his clothes is genius!
