Princess Eugenie has a seriously idyllic family life. After seven years of dating, royal fans were delighted in 2018 when Eugenie and her longtime love Jack Brooksbank got engaged.
The two were married on October 12, 2018 – just months after Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, tied the knot – and in February 2021, two became three when they welcomed their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
Taking to her personal Instagram account, the youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson shared a black and white photo of their newborn’s tiny hand to announce their baby’s birth but it wasn’t until over a week later that they shared the first official picture and the name they’d settled on.
“We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank,” she captioned the first family photo, taken by their “wonderful midwife”.
“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”
In June 2023, the trio became four with the arrival of their second child, Ernest.
“Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, on 30th May 2023 at 8.49, weighing 7.1lbs,” she wrote.
“He is named after his great-great-great-grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”
After two boys, Eugenie and Jack were blessed with a healthy baby girl. Initially, Princess Eugenie kept royal watchers waiting to discover the bubs name. Two weeks after her birth in early August 2026, they revealed her name and the special meaning behind it.
“We are so happy to share Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts,” she wrote. “Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.
“Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.”
Royal watchers received another glimpse at the growing Brooksbank baby girl when Princess Eugenie shared a video, celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary.
“Happy 8 years married my love. 🥳,” she captioned the video (below). “What you can’t hear in this video is Jack asking our daughter if she likes her head being massaged that way… so thoughtful, caring, and best Dada there is to our 3. Couldn’t have wished for a better partner.”

On May 3, 2025, Princess Eugenie shared a sweet carousel of images of her husband and their family to celebrate his birthday.
In the caption, she wrote: “Happy Birthday to my hero. Gosh it’s been 14 years and every birthday gets better as our family grows. Best Dada ever and the best memories with so many more to come.”
In addition to a recent picture of her husband, Eugenie shared a throwback photo of when they were first dating, holiday snaps of the whole family, and a cute shot of Jack and one of their sons on what we assume was Easter, and the two have giant rabbit teddy bears!
