This year’s Carols in the Domain will take place on December 21, 2024. You can tune in from home on this date on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Will Carols in the Domain be televised?

Yes! The 2024 Carols in the Domain will be broadcast live.

In previous years, the event was pre-recorded the week before it aired on TV. 

Who is hosting Carols in the Domain?

It has not yet been announced who’s hosting this year but it’s likely Sunrise co-hosts Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington — who hosted the event last year — will do so. Watch this space. 

Who is performing at the 2024 Carols in the Domain?

So far, it’s been confirmed that The Wiggles, Samantha Jade, Hugh Sheridan, Conrad Sewell, Erin Holland, Mark Vincent, Jael Wena, Kym Johnson, Budjerah, and Rhonda Burchmore will perform.

The Sydney Youth Orchestra, The Australian Girls Choir and the Salvation Army Choir are set to perform at this year’s Carols in the Domain too. 

And, of course, Santa Claus will make a special appearance during the event! 

How much does it cost to go to the Carols in the Domain?

You can enjoy the event from ‘The Festive Lawn’ for free, but be sure to arrive very early to secure a spot. However, make sure you bring your own picnic blanket! 

And if you want a guaranteed spot, you can buy a ticket to the Carols in the Domain:

  • Tinsel Town tickets start at $21.70 and include a prime lawn location. 
  • Premium Reserve tickets start at $84.90 and include a chair.
