What is a moissanite diamond?
Composed of silicon carbide, moissanite is a natural mineral first discovered in 1893 inside a meteorite. Although it’s a naturally occurring mineral, moissanite is exclusively lab-grown today in a way that requires no mining and has less of an impact environmentally than a natural gem.
