Good news, Big Brother Australia is returning in 2026.
Days after the 2025 season came to an explosive end, viewers looked for news on another season.
The beloved reality television program returned to its Channel 10 home last year. With this return, the program brought back its original features like 24/7 live streaming, and live evictions.
Hosting the return of Big Brother was dedicated fan Mel Tracina, best known for her role on The Cheap Seats.

Is Big Brother Australia returning in 2026?
Yes! Big Brother will return in 2026 with a brand-new batch of housemates hoping to claim the cash prize.
“Another year, another group of housemates who think they can outsmart me. How adorable,” Big Brother said. “Australia, I hope you’re ready, because I’ve been watching, I’ve been planning, and let’s just say… this year’s surprises will be my finest work yet. Welcome back to my House.”
This isn’t completely shocking news given the 2025 grand finale, which aired on December 8, subtly teased the news.
“While the season may be over, we’re pretty sure Big Brother will be keeping an eye on our beloved housemates… until the next batch arrives,” a Channel 10 statement read.
Unfortunately, the network has not revealed when the new season will premiere.
How to apply for Big Brother Australia 2026?
Like the 2025 season, Network 10 will open casting for the 2026 season of Big Brother. But casting for another season has not yet opened.
