The heart of Australian television’s most eligible bachelor, Dr Chris Brown, has been stolen by his girlfriend, Lorraine Monforte.
Given the interest in his personal life, the former I’m A Celebrity host rarely makes admissions about his relationships. Since confirming his relationship status in late 2025, Dr Chris has made only a handful of comments.
His most recent statement was while speaking to Stellar magazine, revealing that the pair had been friends for more than a decade.
“Yeah, I’m in a relationship and really happy,” he shared.
“The great thing with Lorraine is that she was a publicist for a TV network for 13 years. That’s how we first became friends. And that’s essentially all it was for quite a period of time.”
Lorraine is a publicist, previously working in Brisbane at Channel 10 – where Chris worked for many years hosting I’m A Celebrity before his recent move to Channel 7.
Dr Chris first revealed he was ‘off the market’ in August 2025 in a radio interview on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa. In classic Dr Chris fashion, the details were slim.
“I am happy,” he said. But he wouldn’t confirm how long the two had been together: “Time’s irrelevant in love.”
However, Lorraine has received the tick of approval from Chris’ father, Graeme, giving her a “thumbs up.”
The pair were spotted together in March at the Melbourne Grand Prix. Lorraine shared a collection of photos and videos to Instagram of the day, in which she and Dr Chris were spotted walking through the pit lane.
Despite these statements and appearances together, they never posted each other on social media – until May 21 when Lorraine shared a collection of images of herself and Dr Chris.
Dr Chris’ relationship status has been a hot topic for years. During his interview with Stellar, Chris revealed he often laughs off the rumours.
“I think by last count, I’ve had nine babies. I’ve been married or engaged seven times. You’ve just got to find that funny, right?” he said.
“Occasionally I’ll run into the women that I’ve supposedly been in a relationship with, and we have a good laugh about it. That’s the only way you can deal with it, because I could be rumoured to be in a relationship with someone one week, and then separated the next week.
“Sadly, the list is long of great women who I’ve supposedly been in a relationship with, who I’ve never met. When we do finally meet, it’s often actually a relief, to be honest, to finally be able to put a face to the name.”
Lorraine has shared a lot of their love recently while on holiday with Chris in Helsinki, Finland.
Along with a photo of her Finnish family in Australian jerseys (with Chris in the corner), she also shared a photo of herself and Chris on a boat, on which Chris commented: “They look lovely.”
