Good news for Jimmy Barnes fans: The singer will embark on a tour in 2025.
Taking to Instagram, Jimmy first announced that his new album, DEFIANT, would be released on June 6, 2025.
The 68-year-old then shared:
“To celebrate the release of the new album, I’ll be hitting the road with my 9-piece band for the DEFIANT TOUR this June.”

Yes, Jimmy will tour Australia in June 2025.
He’ll kick off the DEFIANT TOUR in Adelaide before heading to Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Canberra.

How can I get tickets to Jimmy Barnes’ tour?
Tickets to the Adelaide, Perth, and Canberra shows will be available via Ticketek; whereas tickets to the Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney shows will be available via Ticketmaster.
There are three presales for the DEFIANT TOUR.
The ANZ Cardholders presale starts on February 25, 2025 at 10am and both the Frontier Members and Artist presales start on February 26, 2025 at 11am.
General admission tickets go on sale on February 28, 2025, at 10am.

In terms of ticket prices, A reserve seats are $149.90, and B reserve seats are $119.90.
When was the last time Jimmy Barnes went on tour?
Before Jimmy could embark on the Australian leg of the Hell of a Time Tour, he was forced to cancel all shows in August 2024.
Why? The singer experienced severe pain in his hip and, as a result, had to undergo surgery.
It’s not the only health scare Jimmy has faced in recent years; in December 2023, he underwent open heart surgery and in 2022, he had a hip replacement.
