Ahead of the 2024 Academy Awards, a slew of A-list celebrities have gathered for the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon.
Held at the Beverly Hilton on February 13, 2024, those who are nominated for an Oscar this year – along with their plus ones, members of the Academy’s board of governors and a handful of journalists – sat down together and enjoyed lunch, as per tradition.
Videos of various nominees first reacting to the news they’d be nominated were shown during the lunch, and the full list of nominees was read out afterwards.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Margot Robbie, Greta Gerwig, Robert Downey Jr, Christopher Nolan and Paul Giamatti received the loudest applause when their names were read aloud.
And while the luncheon was less formal than the lavish Oscars ceremony (set to be held on March 11, 2024), that doesn’t mean the attendees didn’t deliver in the fashion department…
