Farmer Wants A Wife is one of Australia’s most popular reality dating series for a reason.
With 14 seasons now under its belt, Farmer Wants A Wife has been responsible for ten marriages and 27 children.
And the 2024 season brought even more joy to fans with the emergence of five more relationships.
However, the burning question remains: are the new couples from Farmer Wants A Wife 2024 still together? Read on to find out!
Farmer Joe and Sarah
In the last episode of the season, Farmer Joe professed his love for Sarah.
“I love the person you are. I love how strong and determined you are,” he said.
“I want to tackle the future with you by my side, and us as a team. I’m looking for someone who doesn’t need me, but who wants me.”
Joe asked Sarah if she wanted to go to the farm with him.
“Absolutely,” Sarah replied, before they shared a kiss.
At the reunion, filmed one month after their decision to be together, the couple were still going strong. And in June 2024, Sarah started a new job just a short distance from Joe’s farm in Bombala, NSW.
However in early August, Sarah took to Instagram to reveal the relationship was over.
“I was really hoping to not have to do this as I’m a very private person, but it’s incredibly hard to heal while constantly receiving questions and comments about the status of my relationship,” she wrote on a Story.
“Joe and I separated a few weeks ago. This has been one of the hardest times of my life so I want to sincerely thank those who have sent kind messages checking in on me and for welcoming me into this community,” she continued.
“It’s been difficult without my friends and family around me but the kindness that has been shown is something I’ll never forget.”
Joe has remained very quiet on the split but he did tell Yahoo Lifestyle, “The only comment I’ll make is you can’t force love.”
Less than week after revealing the news of the breakup, Sarah shared more details on August 12… but through song.
On Instagram, Sarah posted a video of her singing and playing guitar, and the telling lyrics (that she wrote) included “You know I loved your mum, but her son is such a d***” and “It’s all your fault but you still like to play the victim.”
In response, Joe simply told Yahoo Lifestyle that he “wished [Sarah] all the very best for her music career”.
Farmer Tom and Sarah
Farmer Tom had come to a tough crossroads in his search for love, as it was down to Krissy and Sarah. After careful consideration he decided that Krissy was not the one and sent her home.
Then on his date with Sarah, he opened up and shared his true feelings with her and his desire to continue their relationship.
“After putting a lot of consideration in, at this point in time, Sarah, you are the person I want a relationship with and I am falling in love with you,” he said.
“I love you,” Sarah replied before they kissed.
At the reunion, Tom and Sarah shared that they were still together and managing long distance, building the foundations of their post-show relationship.
Sarah shared: “My new job, I can do from Perth or I can do from [the farm], remotely.”
“I love being on the farm with Tom, and I feel…that I want my future to be here.”
However, in May 2024, Sarah took to Instagram to reveal she and Tom had broken up.
“I applied to FWAW with the sole intention of falling in love with Tom and I certainly surprised myseld with how deeply I felt for him in a short amount of time.
“Unfortunately, that lifelong love that I was seeking did not turn out the way I hoped it would, but it’s definitely a relief now to put that truth out there that Tom and I are no longer together. Relationships don’t always work out and people are not always who you think they are.
“Life goes on and I’ll forever be a hopeless romantic. I can’t wait to try again for the partner and lasting love that I know I deserve,” Sarah wrote.
Farmer Todd and Daisy
After the hot water Farmer Todd found himself in the previous episode, he was ready to make his final decision in the last episode.
“Finding love is a big risk,” he explained.
“I’m willing to take the risk with you, Daisy. I can finally give you the reassurance that I am definitely falling in love with you.”
An emotional and excited Daisy was thrilled with the news and followed up with a lovely question.
“This is where the exciting part starts, right? Forever,” she said.
At the reunion, they shared that they are both living on the farm and enjoying their life together as a couple.
“It was a big move, big decision…[but] it’s good on the farm,” Daisy shared.
Todd shared how life has got better on the farm.
“It’s easy, it’s nice,” Todd started.
“Nice to have someone here…it’s a good feeling.”
Once on the couch together, the happy couple couldn’t wait to share about their future plans.
“We want a few little rugrats sort of sooner rather than later [but]I’ve gotta put a ring on the finger,” Todd explained.
Daisy replied: “That was the agreement…I’ll give him his family, but he’s gotta give me a big rock first.”
“I’m very, very much in love with this man.”
As of August 2024, Todd and Daisy one of the Farmer Wants A Wife couples from this year’s season that are still together!
Farmer Dustin and Sophie
For the finale of Farmer Wants A Wife, Farmer Dustin decided that Sophie was the one for him.
“As soon as I saw you, I thought, you’re absolutely gorgeous,” explained Dustin.
“I really wanted you to be the first one to come home and be on the farm and see all the special places that mean so much to me.
“One thing you’ve taught me is to open up and be vulnerable. It’s definitely made me into a better person.”
Sophie was visibly ecstatic and shared her feelings with Farmer Dustin: “I am falling in love with you and it’s nice to hear you want to give us a chance and see what the future holds”.
At the reunion, Dustin shared how he had fallen in with “that small town girl from Rand and that they had spent some time together since the show.
“Yeah, me and Soph a fair bit of time together,” Dustin explained.
“She came up, back up to home, with her family and friends as well. We’ve been everywhere.”
Host Samantha Armytage asked if they has faced any challenges as a couple yet, and Dustin shared that their current living arrangement is proving to be a sticking point.
“I moved out to another little house on the farm. It’s an older house, It’s a bit old and run down,” Dustin shared.
“Sophie’s not overly impressed by it. There’s a fair few things…it’s like anything old, [it needs] work done to it.”
Despite this challenge, Sophie joined Dustin on the couch and they shared that they are still together, and looking ahead to their future.
And as of August 2024, Dustin and Sophie are another one of the Farmer Wants A Wife couples from this year’s season that are still together!
Farmer Dean and Teegan
In a shocking decision, Farmer Dean decided to end his Farmer Wants A Wife journey early because he just knew Teegan was the one for him.
He sent Bella and Tiffany home, and then pulled Teegan aside for a chat.
“Teegan, as soon as we locked eyes, I was like, ‘Woah. Holy; she’s a stunner.’ And I was so excited to meet you,” Dean told her.
“There’s been a massive connection between me and you, since day dot,” he continued.
“Along the journey we’ve just seemed to grow and grow our connection and obviously, that’s what I came here to do.”
Teegan then interjected and sweetly said, “I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamt and thought about our future on the farm together and bringing kids up and stuff on the farm. From the moment I stepped foot on the farm, it’s really felt like home.”
At this point, Dean confessed, “Teegan, I’ve fallen in love with you. I want this journey with you to start.”
“I’m definitely falling in love with you,” she replied.
At the reunion, Dean shared that since the show he flew down to meet Teegan’s family and then she packed her car and moved to the farm.
“I don’t have the friends up here and my family and stuff like that, but Dean’s just made it really easy,” Teegan shared.
Sadly, Teegan then revealed during the reunion that after some time together living on the farm, she decided to end her and Dean’s relationship.
“Coming into the experience, you know, you expect a farmer and things like that,” Teegan started.
“But I think my expectations kind of what it was and being so, far away from my support network [and] I guess not having Dean there was quite hard on myself, [and it] made our romantic relationship kind of fall apart a little bit.”
Not regretting the experience, Teegan shared they still keep in touch.
0“[I had] some really, really fun times with Dean on the farm [and] I don’t regret anything anything about it.”
