Farmer Wants A Wife is one of the most successful reality dating shows to ever grace our screens.

Not just because it’s a ratings juggernaut but also because it’s been responsible for ten marriages and 27 children.

Ahead of the new season, we’ve rounded up which Farmer Wants A Wife couples from previous seasons are still together…

Are any of the couples from Farmer Wants a Wife still together? Where are they now?

Yes! Of course, not every single couple that spawned from one of the 13 seasons of Farmer Wants A Wife is still together, but – as of 2024 – there’s a fair few that are:

Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney

Season 1 of Farmer Wants A Wife aired in 2007 and brought together Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney. The couple were the first FWAW contestants to marry; their ceremony was filmed for Season 2.

Today, Chris and Kim live in Tamworth (on Chris’ farm), with their son and daughter.

Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham

Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham met during the second season of Farmer Wants A Wife. Flashforward to today and the couple are married and share three children – daughters Darcy, 12, and Maggie, nine, and son Roy, six.

Rob, Jo, Darcy, Maggie and Roy all lived on Rob’s Mount Gambier cattle farm up until this year. In early 2024, the family relocated to Noosa.

Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg

In early 2009, Damian Atkins became absolutely smitten with Rachael Peynenborg during Season 3 of Farmer Wants A Wife.

The Tasmanian farmer is now married to Rachael and shares three children with her.

Scott Warby and Clare Spark

After Season 4 of Farmer Wants A Wife ended in late 2009, Scott Warby and Clare Spark began a long-distance relationship – he lived on his farm in Mundingi and Clare lived in Brisbane.

Nine months later, Scott proposed and Clare moved to Mundingi to be with her Farmer. Today, the couple are happily married and have two children.

Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion

Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion are another success story from Season 4. The couple became engaged just six months after the finale aired in late 2009.

Currently, Brad and Stacie are married and share three daughters.

Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker

Diehard fans will remember Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker from the Season 5 finale of Farmer Wants A Wife. During the episode, Nathan proposed and Amanda said yes!

The couple are now married as well as the proud parents of three sons.

Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly

Sparks instantly flew between Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly when they met in 2011 during Season 7 of Farmer Wants A Wife. Two years later, on Valentine’s Day, Frank proposed to Tenille – she obviously said yes.

The now married couple currently live on Frank’s Hughenden farm and have a son named Oliver.

Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne

In 2012, Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne ended up together all thanks to Season 8 of Farmer Wants A Wife. Then, three months after the finale aired, Jodie moved from Sydney to Sam’s cattle farm in Western Australia.

In 2012, the couple got engaged. Three years later, in early 2015, they tied the knot. Then in 2018, Sam and Jodie welcomed their child, River, into the world.

Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan

Producers had to convince Andrew Guthrie and Jess Nathan to stay right until the end of 2021’s Season 11 – they wanted to drop out of Farmer Wants A Wife mid-season because they knew they wanted to be together.

However, they did end up staying, and almost a year after the finale aired (where Andrew obviously picked Jess), the couple moved in together. Then last year, in August 2023, Andrew and Jess announced they were engaged!

Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman

Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman have been living happily ever after since Farmer Wants A Wife’s Season 12 finale. Harry even left his farm for Tess; he moved to the Gold Coast to be with Tess while she finished her psychology studies there.

As of 2024, the couple are still together but have moved back to Harry’s sheep and cattle farm in Kyabram.

Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders

Last year’s Farmer Wants A Wife season has – so far – been the most successful; four out of the five farmers found true love. This includes Andrew Coleman who ended up with Claire Saunders.

Andrew and Claire left Season 13 early because they knew they were perfect together. Claire then instantly moved to Andrew’s farm and in March 2024, the couple announced they were engaged!

Brad Jones and Clare Hockings

Brad Jones and Clare Hockings are another couple from last year’s Season 13 who are still together.

Just a few months after the finale aired, the couple announced they were expecting a child, and then in December 2023, Brad and Clare welcomed that child – a son named Roy Grahame Jones.

David McMahon and Emily Gordon

Shortly after Season 13 of Farmer Wants A Wife wrapped, Emily Gordon moved to David McMahon’s apple farm in Pozieres.

Then in October 2023, the couple shared that they were engaged. “Incredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his wife,” David wrote on Instagram.

Matt Young and Olivia Benic

Matt Young and Olivia Benic were another couple who wound up together at the end of Farmer Wants A Wife Season 13.

As of 2024, the couple are still together and have both moved to Canberra – not to Matt’s sheep and cattle farm in Bookham nor to Olivia’s hometown Wollongong. This is because Matt swapped farming for a job with the Department of Agriculture.
