MasterChef fans and foodies alike were overjoyed to discover Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary were expecting their first child together.
The parents confirmed their bub will arrive sometime late 2025 or early 2026.

Prior to the announcement, Sarah and Declan were in France tasting new foods in Paris and traveling along the Nice coastline.
Fans were eagerly zooming in on Sarah’s hand during this trip, searching for a shiny new accessory on her finger. While there was no news of an engagement, there was something else on the cards for the chefs.
While speaking on Mamamia No Filter podcast with Kate Langbroek, Sarah revealed she was suffering from major morning sickness.
“We were driving below the Eiffel Tower and I’m puking in the gutter… in all sorts of places,” she shared.

Sarah is already a mother to 14-year-old son, Phoenix. But she is certainly feeling morning sickness this time around.
Sarah shared a collaboration post with Declan on October 10 to confirm a baby was on its way.
“We are overjoyed to share that our little family is growing 💛,” Sarah wrote.
The post featured a positive Clearblue pregnancy test, Sarah’s growing baby bump, and the pair shopping for baby clothes.
“These past months have been some of the most precious of our lives. A sacred time of holding this news close, letting it sink in, and soaking up all the emotions with those dearest to us.

“It has been such a gift to sit in the wonder of it all, imagining the beautiful new chapter that lies ahead.
“We feel so deeply blessed knowing this little cherub will enter a world already brimming with so much love. Between us, Phoenix, and Sol, there is no shortage of cuddles, laughter, and warmth waiting to welcome the addition to our family.
“Our hearts are full to the brim, and we couldn’t be happier to finally share this joy with all of you.
“Thank you for being a part of this special moment in our lives. It means the world to us. With love, Sarah, Declan, Phoenix & Sol 🐾,” she concluded.
In late October, the Todd-Cleary family gathered for the baby shower.

“Magical baby shower weekend,” Sarah wrote. “Thank you to all of you for making it so special. And Dec, you went above and beyond pulling this whole thing together. Between the surprise details, the thoughtful touches, I’m still completely blown away. From the baby shower to my birthday today, could this weekend possibly be any bigger.
“Feeling so grateful and so full…Love you all so much,” she concluded.
