Olympic medalist Scotty James is known for his skills as a snowboarder, but the Australian also has ties to F1 after marrying wife, Chloe Stroll.
Scotty made headlines after winning the silver medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics in the Men’s Snowboard Halfpipe. Despite the incredible achievement, the 31-year-old was disappointed after crashing on the last trick of his final run.
While confessing his disappointment during the post-event press conference, the athlete also touched on the sacrifices made from himself, his family and his team.
“I am there for myself and what I can try and accomplish in half-pipe and then also share that with the people who support me, my team,’’ James said, wiping away tears.
“So my team, you know, they’re living this dream with me as well, they have families as well, like me, and they spend a lot of time away from their families like me. And, my why is to make it or do my best so that it makes it worthwhile.”

Chloe Stroll, born Strulovitch, is a 30-year-old singer-songwriter, born in Canada.
As we previously mentioned, Chloe is no newbie when it comes to the sporting world. Her father is billionaire businessman Lawrence Stroll, a co-owner of the Aston Martin Formula One team.
He is reportedly worth almost $6 billion. However, his wealth mostly comes from fashion. Lawrence’s father introduced the Pierre Cardin and Ralph Lauren brands to Canada, before investing in Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors.
Chloe’s mother is fashion designer Claire-Anne Stroll. Lawrence and Claire are no longer together.

How did Scotty James meet Chloe Stroll?
Scotty and Chloe met in 2019, after being introduced to one another by her brother Lance in New York.
“Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry’,” Chloe recalled to the Herald Sun, as per 9Honey.
“It was kind of strange. I had a conference in Park City [Utah], which was where his next competition was the same weekend and a lot of random things happened.
“Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or as he likes to say, we got to know each other, before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”
In 2021, Scotty dropped down to one knee, with the lovebirds tying the knot in a beautiful Italian ceremony in May, 2023.
