In an exciting announcement, Australian snowboarding champion Scotty James and his Canadian Formula 1 heiress wife, Chloe Stroll James, have shared that they are expecting their first baby.
The happy news was revealed through Instagram posts shared via the couple’s respective accounts.
The post featured a beautiful photo gallery of the couple with the humorous caption: “This is not a Dad joke…”
Scotty then shared the post to his Instagram Stories with the caption, “a new chapter” and tagging wife Chloe.
Scotty and Chloe’s baby announcement posts have already received many beautiful messages of congratulations from family and friends.
Sunrise weatherman and brother-in-law Sam Mac couldn’t contain his excitement.
“So excited for you guys! The best news,” he shared.
Australian sport star Dylan Alcott shared, “Congrats brother!”
Surfer Mick Fanning shared Dylan’s sentiment and commented, “Congrats brother. Magical times ahead.”
“Congratulations mate awesome news,” commented AFL star and radio host Brendan Fevola.
Hollywood actress and family friend of the Stroll’s Catherine Zeta-Jones shared, “So happy for you both.”
Scotty James, known for his achievements in the world of snowboarding, including multiple X Games and Olympic medals, has always been in the public eye for his athletic prowess.
His wife, Chloe Stroll, an accomplished singer/songwriter and the daughter of Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, was introduced to the snowboarder by her brother, Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll. In an interview with the Herald Sun, she shared how the two first met.
“Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry,'” Chloe explained.
“Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or as he likes to say, we got to know each other, before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”
After meeting in 2019 and dating a couple of years, the couple got engaged in November 2021 and in May 2023 they tied the knot in a beautiful wedding in Northern Italy. The star-studded affair had a stacked guestlist of local and International celebrities from Hollywood to Formula 1, and by Scotty’s side as a groomsman was his best mate and Australia F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo.
