Is Strife based on Mamamia?
The show takes inspiration from Mia Freedman’s memoir, Work, Strife, Balance.
Mia is the co-founder of the women’s digital media company Mamamia.
However, Strife doesn’t follow ‘Mia’ — it follows Evelyn ‘Eve’ Jones, a former magazine editor who runs a blog called Eve Life.
But when Eve’s confessional column — titled ‘I ended my marriage over a flat white’ — goes viral, Eve Life has the chance to become a profitable online media business…
