The 2025 season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition has been full of tears, laughter and absolute chaos.
But it’s still a competition, which means 13 teams were ruthlessly cut to ultimately determine the winner of The Amazing Race which has now been revealed.
These celebrity teams weren’t racing for themselves! They were racing to win $100,000 cash prize to their chosen charity – and bragging rights.
Returning host was former football player and television personality, Beau Ryan.
With the winner now confirmed, continue reading to reflect on all the teams eliminated from The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition 2025.
Aesha Scott & Scott Dobson
Below Deck’s Aesha and her partner Scott made it to the final three! They were one of two eliminated in the grand final, with brothers Stephen and Bernard Curry winning the season.
Georgie Tunny & Rob Mills
Journalist Georgie and actor Rob also made it to the final three on The Amazing Race!
Luke & Scott
Luke and Scott poured their hearts out for the race and their chosen charity, Good Friday Appeal. But the hilarious TikTok brothers were eliminated just before the grand finale.
“Our time on the Amazing Race is over 🥺” they wrote on Instagram. “For the first time we will admit that we are so proud of each other. We never saw ourselves doing something like this and going as far as we did.”
Gretel Killeen & Epiphany Mason
Despite their best efforts, the mother-and-daughter were eliminated during the 12th leg of the race in Taiwan. Gretel and Epiphany were racing for the Hunter Medical Research Institute, hoping to highlight its Women’s Health Program.
“I think the mother-daughter dynamic is unique and complicated. It has ups and downs, irritations and great joy and laughter,” Gretel said following their elimination.
Melissa Leong & Leah
Best Friends
Despite their best efforts, foodie Melissa Leong and best friend Leah were eliminated in Sri Lanka. While speaking to The Weekly, Mel confessed she felt they were going to be eliminated.
“Especially at that point in the competition, the exhaustion is real. There’s no sugar coating it! Whatever you packed to take around the world with you, you’re carrying,” she confessed. “The bags are so heavy, and we are not all as strong – both emotionally and physically – as Brendan Fevola for example or Monty Campbell or Tiffany Hall!”
“But I’m proud of how far we got.”
The former MasterChef judge admittedly felt a lot of pressure having racing for Orygen, a foundation focusing on mental health and eating disorders. But she revealed the series was a “wonderful opportunity for people to get to know me outside of the world of studios, chandelier earrings, Spanx, glamorous dresses, and hair and makeup teams on tap.”
Lindy & Stella Klim
Mother & Daughter
The contestants were racing under the sweltering Sri Lankan sun for the seventh leg. It was deemed too much for Stella, who became dizzy and medics advised her journey come to an end.
“We’ve had a great time, it’s been so special doing it with Stella,” Lindy said. “I’m really fortunate that we had this experience that we could do together.”
Brendan & Leni Fevola
Father & Daughter
Footy star Brendan competed with his daughter, Leni. But after Leni fell ill during the second leg, the father continued for the both of them.
Despite his best efforts, Brendan admitted he couldn’t compete by himself.
““I’ve used all my tickets, man. I think I’m gonna have to check out, go home to my kid, take her home to her mum and sisters,” he said.
Shortly after their elimination, Leni took to Instagram to reflect on her experience. ‘
“What an amazing experience with amazing people, something I’ll never forget. So grateful that dad took me with him, and can’t wait to see the rest of the series 🩷”
Dom Di Tommaso & Marx Marsters
Best Friends
Athletes and best mates, Dom Di Tommaso and Marx Marsters were eliminated from The Amazing Race with mere seconds to go on their time penalty.
The pair were presenting National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Steph & Ben Tisdell
Siblings
Steph and Ben poured their heart outs to compete on The Amazing Race, but there were unfortunately eliminated during the fourth leg.
The comedian injured herself during the first day of filming, but didn’t realise the extent until they exited. In an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, Steph revealed she exited with two torn menisci, a Baker’s cyst, and arthritis in her knees.
“I’d been training for a running documentary that I’m doing, aiming for a marathon, and I’d been training for at least six months before then,” she told the publication, admitting she was on a running ban prior to getting approval to compete on the show.
“The only thing that I was told was, ‘Hey, the two worst things that you could do for this is uneven ground and stairs’, and so we rocked up in Nepal and I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me’.”
Bronte Campbell OAM & Benfield Lainchbury
Engaged
Olympian Bronte Campbell and partner Benfield Lainchbury were the second team to be eliminated after coming last in the third leg. They were competing for Caring Australia.
“It’s for all of the millions and millions of unpaid carers across Australia, so, I would have loved to get the win for them,” Bronte said.
Ed Kavalee & Tiffiny Hall
Married
TV personality Ed Kavalee and personal trainer Tiffany Hall were the first team to be eliminated from the competition, exiting in the first episode.
The married couple were racing for Learning for Life Autism Centre, which provides early intervention programs for autistic children in Victoria.
Technically, they were the 11th team to arrive on the mat with Beau. But decided to take a 20 minute penalty during the first leg of the race. During this time, they watched two teams arrive, meaning they were the 13th team to check in.
