The room reveals for the 2024 season of The Block are officially over!
For the past 13 weeks, each team renovated one room, per week in their assigned house on Phillip Island.
And then, the judges — Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox — were brought in to critique and score them on their work.

Week 13 — The Disney Clubhouse
Every single team got very high praise from the judges for their Clubhouse sections…
Maddy & Charlotte
Maddy and Charlotte worked on the outside BBQ and entertaining area with Allstars Ronnie and Georgie.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant completed the day spa and sauna with Allstars Steph and Gian.
Ricky & Haydn
Ricky and Haydn did the Alfresco dining space with Allstars Eliza and Liberty.
Kylie & Brad
As Kylie and Brad left the competition, Allstars Jimmy and Tam worked on the games room alone.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi, along with Allstars Alisa and Lysandra, worked on the cinema and indoor kitchen.

Week 12 — Front Yard & Facade
Maddy & Charlotte
The judges especially loved what Maddy and Charlotte did with their garage. However, they could tell the sisters had run out of money despite their “great effort”.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant nailed it once again; the judges loved everything, from the grand entrance to the plant choices.
Ricky & Haydn
The judges surprisingly loved the pink garage door! However, they weren’t too keen on the layout of Ricky and Haydn’s front yard.
Kylie & Brad
After an intense week, the judges’ negative feedback for Kylie and Brad was like adding insult to injury. As a result, Kylie told Scotty Cam to “wrap it up”, swore at him under her breath, and stormed out of the judging ceremony.
Kristian & Mimi
Overall, the judges liked what Kristian and Mimi did but they did feel like the upstairs balcony area was a “missed opportunity”.

Week 11 — Backyard
Maddy & Charlotte
The judges were quite impressed with Maddy and Charlotte’s outdoor space. Marty even called it “an entertainer’s dream”.
Courtney & Grant
All three judges — plus, guest judge David Franklin — LOVED what Courtney and Grant did with their backyard. They complimented everything: the pool, the plants, the fire pit, the BBQ area…
Ricky & Haydn
The judges were a touch underwhelmed by Ricky and Haydn’s work this week. Shaynna in particular “wanted more”.
Kylie & Brad
After not finishing, Kylie and Brad did not get any good feedback from the judges.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi received great feedback from the judges; who especially loved the basketball court. However, all of the judges did find it strange that there was no BBQ area.

Week 10 — Guest Bedroom and Laundry
Maddy & Charlotte
The judges weren’t too impressed with Maddy and Charlotte’s work this week. They didn’t love the elevated bed and noticed multiple elements were unfinished.
Courtney & Grant
The judges loved that Courtney and Grant listened to their previous feedback and changed the layout of their upstairs space. Not to mention, Shaynna, Marty and Darren also loved what the couple did with both the bedroom and the laundry.
Ricky & Haydn
Ricky and Haydn wowed the judges this week. The powder room in the laundry and the bunk beds in the guest bedroom were a hit — particularly, as the space now sleeps a total of 12 people.
Kylie & Brad
Kylie and Brad’s efforts this week were not well received. The judges thought the guest bedroom’s layout wasn’t functional and they weren’t fans of the black and white colour scheme in the laundry. Kylie was infuriated by their comments.
Kristian & Mimi
The judges liked Kristian and Mimi’s guest bedroom but thought it was in the wrong place in the house, believing it should be where the rumpus is instead. With that being said, the judges loved the couple’s laundry and remarked that it was their favourite laundry of the week.

Week 9 — Office and Rumpus Rooms
Maddy & Charlotte
The sisters crushed it this week, coming first place (tied with Ricky and Hadyn). Maddy and Charlotte spent a total of $38,833 on the fit-out. The judges especially loved the spiral staircase that leads to a self-contained space, the artwork, and the lighting plan.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant’s two spaces were hit-and-miss this week. After spending a total of $29,091, the judges loved the couple’s rumpus room but hated the office, saying “What’s the point?”
Ricky & Haydn
As mentioned, Ricky and Haydn took out first place after tying with Maddy and Charlotte. They loved the games room, the styling… everything!
Kylie & Brad
Kylie and Brad did not receive any good feedback this week. In fact, Marty called the couple’s rumpus room the “most uncomfortable room” on The Block. Kylie was especially devastated by the comments.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi didn’t finish all the spaces they needed to this week and so, their score was reflective of that. Plus, the judges thought the rumpus room screamed “display suite”.

Week 8 — Living and Dining
Maddy & Charlotte
Ultimately, Maddy and Charlotte spent $36,000 on their living and dining space. The judges liked what the sisters had done but didn’t love it; Darren thought it was a little bit “safe”.
Courtney & Grant
After spending $34,949, the judges loved Courtney and Grant’s work this week. The only issue was the placement of the fire. Aside from that, everything else was positively received.
Ricky & Haydn
The judges had a similar reaction to Ricky and Haydn’s living and dining room as they did to Maddy and Charlotte: they liked it but didn’t love it.
Kylie & Brad
The judges all loved Kylie and Brad’s living and dining spaces. The couple spent $50,477 and Marty called it his favourite room that’s been revealed on The Block so far.
Kristian & Mimi
Sadly, Kristian and Mimi got little to no good feedback from the judges this week. Shaynna, Marty and Darren all thought the layout was completely wrong and didn’t take advantage of the balcony and views.

Week 7 — Guest Ensuite
Maddy & Charlotte
After spending $19,660 on their guest ensuite — which was the first room that featured entirely their ideas and execution after taking over Jesse and Paige’s house — Maddy and Charlotte impressed the judges. Shaynna described the sisters’ style as “Classic Simplicity”.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant once again divided the judges. Darren and Shaynna loved their ensuite, which cost $27,595, while Marty thought it was over the top.
Ricky & Haydn
The boys spent a total of $33,112 on their ensuite and received mostly good feedback. The judges loved the continuation of the circular theme but thought the yellow should’ve been a more subtle shade.
Kylie & Brad
After spending $28,148, Kylie and Brad divided the judges. Darren loved the “bold” ensuite while Marty, frankly, hated it. Shaynna was somewhere in the middle, loving some elements but not others…
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi didn’t really wow the judges this week. While Marty called their ensuite (which cost $27,720) “clean and very marketable,” he — along with Darren and Shaynna — thought the finishes weren’t great. And Shaynna thought it was too similar to the other bathrooms Kristian and Mimi had delivered.

Week 6 — Kitchen
Maddy & Charlotte
Maddy and Charlotte spent $15,253 on their kitchen, which the judges loved, calling it ‘luxurious meets traditional’. The sisters would’ve won this week but ended up coming second after Kylie and Brad played their penguin…

Courtney & Grant
Judges Darren and Shaynna loved Courtney and Grant’s kitchen (which cost the couple $13,402) but Marty did not like it at all, saying it didn’t hit its mark.
Ricky & Haydn
Sadly, the judges had very harsh feedback for Ricky and Haydn. All three didn’t like the layout of the kitchen, which cost the boys $16,869. And Shaynna especially hated the white painting on the Porta timber.
Kylie & Brad
Kylie and Brad spent the least this week: $12,030. But after playing their penguin, the couple took out the win! (In fact, they played the penguin solely to prevent Maddy and Charlotte from winning.) The judges loved the “dark and moody” style of Kylie and Brad’s kitchen as well as all the cleverly hidden gadgets.
Kristian & Mimi
After spending the most this week, $20,814, Kristian and Mimi received mixed feedback from the judges. The most controversial element of their kitchen was the green “Shrek-like” oven which divided Shaynna and Marty.

Maddy & Charlotte
Newcomers Maddy and Charlotte impressed the judges, especially as they achieved a lot in such a short amount of time. They did notice that their style is different to Jesse and Paige’s but believe it’ll be complimentary. Overall, the sisters spent $22,536 this week.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant spent the most this week: $27,637. But it was worth it as all the judges loved their work. Especially Marty Fox who asked if he’s allowed to bid on the house!
Ricky & Haydn
The boys didn’t quite finish this week, and while the judges did like what they had done, the incompleteness could not be ignored. Ricky and Haydn spent a total of $25,406 on their master bedroom and walk-in wardrobe.
Kylie & Brad
Again, the judges all agreed on Kylie and Brad’s work (which cost $18,597): they all loved it and thought the couple had hit their stride.
Kristian & Mimi
After spending $19,569 on their master bedroom, Kristian and Mimi got great feedback from the judges. They really loved the styling of the room – although a few functionality issues (like the positioning of the bedside table lights) kept them from receiving a perfect score.

After spending $14,382 on their second guest bedroom, Jesse and Paige received great feedback from the judges; Shaynna especially loved that it was “sophisticated, not juvenile.”

Marty called Courtney and Grant this year’s front runners after seeing this bedroom, which cost the couple $8,946.

Ricky & Haydn
The judges were seriously impressed with the boys for bouncing back after last week. All three love Ricky and Haydn’s guest bedroom, which cost $13,948.
Kylie & Brad
Finally, the judges all agreed when it came to one of Kylie and Brad’s rooms… They all loved this kids’ room, which cost the couple $9,504.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi won yet again this week. The couple spent $18,135 on their guest bedroom which was a real hit with the judges because of the headboards and styling.

All the judges were quite impressed with Jesse and Paige’s ensuite. In total, the couple spent $20,884 on this room.
Courtney & Grant
Courtney and Grant got NO negative feedback this week; the judges simply loved their ensuite which cost $20,575.
Ricky & Haydn
After a disastrous week (which included having to fire one of their builders), Ricky and Haydn didn’t finish their ensuite. The judges were disappointed, to say the least…
Kylie & Brad
Again, Kylie and Brad divided the judges. Shaynna thought the ensuite was too Art Deco, Darren was on the fence (he loved some elements but disliked others) and Marty thought it was great! In total, Kylie and Brad spent $22,224 on their renovations this week.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi spent the most yet again: $33,135. And while the judges were mostly impressed, the couple didn’t win this week; namely, because the judges thought the shower space was too big. Oh and because they didn’t like that Kristian and Mimi left a note with excuses on the door.

Week 2 — Guest Bedroom
The second room reveal of the 2024 season was the guest bedroom.
Jesse & Paige
The couple spent $9,377 on their guest bedroom, which the judges thought was “just right”.
Courtney & Grant
All three judges loved what Courtney and Grant did with their guest bedroom; Marty especially as he said that if the couple keep the styling and level of detail up they are going to be hard to beat. Courtney and Grant spent $8,317 on their guest bedroom.
Ricky & Haydn
Ricky and Haydn spent the least this week: $8,062. But the judges weren’t fond of the layout or the positioning of the bunk beds. Plus, there was bad workmanship on the roof and the plastering.
Kylie & Brad
Another controversial week for Kylie and Brad. The couple spent $11,611 and Shaynna thought the room was too Art Deco for a beach resort but Marty thought it was much better than their bathroom; overall, the judges’ comments left Kylie confused.
Kristian & Mimi
Kristian and Mimi spent the most this week with $12,016, but it was worth it. The couple won again, with Shayanna, Marty and Darren all loving the room.

Week 1 — Master Bathroom
The first room reveal of the 2024 season was the master bathroom.
After working all week on their respective bathrooms, the judges (and us at home!) got to see what each team had accomplished during this time.

Jesse & Paige
Jesse and Paige spent a total of $26,109 and while Shaynna loved Paige’s choice for the vanity and tiles, she and the other judges couldn’t overlook that the bathroom was unfinished.
Courtney & Grant
All three judges praised Courtney and Grant’s bathroom; although Shaynna did admit she wanted “more drama”. Marty strongly disagreed with her though. The couple spent a total of $29,706.
Ricky & Haydn
Ricky and Haydn spent the most out of all the teams: $31,848. Sadly, the judges all thought the boys did an okay job; the biggest issue was that there was too much going on.
Kylie & Brad
Kylie and Brad’s all-black bathroom cost $25,175 and was quite controversial. Shaynna loved the boldness whereas Marty disliked the bathroom, calling it a “disaster”. Darren was on the fence, liking some elements but not others.

Kristian & Mimi
The winners for the week Kristian and Mimi interestingly spent the least out of all the teams: $21,732. All of the judges loved what the couple did with their bathroom from the layout to the colour choices.
