In a tragic turn of events, Victoria Jones, the daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, has died. She was just 34 years old.
In a statement, Tommy Lee Jones and his family wrote:
“We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.”
Like her father, Victoria was an actress in her youth. Her first film was in Men in Black II at only 11 years old alongside her father.
Although she didn’t continue acting, other film credits attached to her are The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father, Tommy Lee Jones, who also starred in the film; as well as The Homesman, and One Tree Hill.

The Fugitive actor praised his daughter’s talents over the years. He told the New Yorker in 2006 that “She’s a good actress, has her SAG [Screen Actors Guild] card, speaks impeccable Spanish.”
Tommy Lee Jones owns a ranch in San Antonio that was used as the set for his film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. He also speaks Spanish and encouraged Victoria’s nurse to speak Spanish to her so that she could perfect the language.
Victoria is the daughter of Tommy and Kimberlea Cloughley, his second wife, to whom the Batman Forever actor was married from 1981 until 1996. They also have a son, Austin.
San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) confirmed that first responders were dispatched to the Fairmont Hotel in the hours after midnight, where Victoria was staying. They confirmed that one person, an adult woman, was unresponsive and, despite providing first aid and CPR, she was declared deceased at the scene.

The Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that the deceased was 34-year-old Victoria Jones, and they had notified her immediate family.
There was no sign of foul play, and it is not suspected by the authorities. However, the official cause of death has been released.
