Verity is the latest Colleen Hoover book to get the movie treatment.
Here’s hoping it isn’t marred by controversy like the It Ends With Us movie was…
(If you’ve been living under a rock, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni – the stars of It Ends With Us – are now suing each other.)
Read on for everything you need to know about Verity.

Will there be a movie for the book Verity?

What is the film Verity about?
The movie will presumably have the same plot as the book.

Verity, the book, is a psychological thriller that follows Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who is offered a life-changing job: to complete the remaining books in a bestselling series after its author, Verity Crawford, is left incapacitated by an accident.
But when Lowen moves into the Crawfords’ home to go through Verity’s notes, she discovers a chilling, unpublished manuscript filled with dark confessions.
And as she grows closer to Verity’s husband, Jeremy, Lowen begins to question everything she knows about the Crawfords – and whether Verity is as helpless as she seems.
Who stars in Verity?
Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway will star as the titular character.

Dakota Johnson – of Fifty Shades of Grey and Materialists fame – will play Lowen, and Josh Hartnett – of Pearl Harbor and Black Hawk Down fame – will play Jeremy.
Ismael Cruz Cordóva and Brady Wagner round out the Verity cast.
Where can I watch the Verity movie?
