Following King Charles’ return to the UK from his state visits to the US and Bermuda, the British Royal Family announced that Princess Eugenie is pregnant with baby number three!
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.”
The announcement continued that August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) were excited to have another sibling joining the family.
King Charles was informed on his return, and the Palace stated that he was “delighted with the news.” King Charles is Princess Eugenie’s uncle. Her father is the former Prince Andrew, who lost his titles. However, his daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, retained theirs.
Princess Eugenie also shared the same photo of her two sons with a sonogram of baby number three on her social media.

She captioned it, “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”
Edoardo Mapelli-Mozzi – who is married to her older sister Princess Beatrice – also shared his love, writing: “❤️❤️ ❤️.” He also posted two hearts on the announcement post of baby number two, Ernest.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have two sons, August Philip Hawke (born 2021) and Ernest George Ronnie (born 2023).
Eugenie and Jack celebrated seven years of marriage in October 2025.

Eugenie was heavily pregnant with Ernest at the coronation of her uncle, King Charles III. It appears that baby number three will be born at a similar time as summer in England begins around June. With the baby due in “summer”, we can expect baby number three to arrive in the coming months!
