It seems like a lifetime ago when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirmed their relationship to the world back in 2017 at the Toronto Invictus Games.

Walking hand-in-hand, the couple couldn’t appear more in love and that classic outfit of Meghan’s white shirt, jeans and ballet flats will be forever imprinted in royal fans’ minds.

Five years on, Harry and Meghan’s lives may have changed considerably but not only has the Invictus Games continued to be a success but so has Meghan’s fashion.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Invictus Games were postponed for two years.

Finally, the games are back on in the Netherlands’ capital The Hague, and they also mark the first ones Harry and Meghan have attended since stepping down as senior members of the British royal family.

Not only have the couple shared candid moments (including references to their children Archie and Lili which you can see in the player below) but Meghan’s fashion has also reflected her California cool style that she’s flaunting now she’s no longer an official royal.

From unconventional jewellery to power suits, Meghan’s style at this year’s Invictus Games manages to be chic and polished yet down-to-earth, just like herself!

However, we’ve also seen her recycle some key elements of her wardrobe including her wedding reception heels and her treasured Cartier watch that once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
