The pair had 100 family and friends in attendance, including Abbey’s Channel Seven sports commentary buddies Luke Hodge and Brian Taylor. Olympic freestyle skier Lydia Lassila – who Abbey met when the duo competed on SAS: Australia – was also there to witness the stunning ceremony.

The location held special significance for Abbey, who had lived in Darwin for seven years. It was also the place where Keegan had got down on bended knee to pop the question back in 2020.

“It’s a place that was a massive part of my journey to where I am today and a place that means a lot to us,” she told the Herald Sun.

“So many of our guests haven’t been to that part of the world so it’s pretty special to be able to get back there and share with them why we love it so much.”
