There’s no denying that Anne Hathaway has an incredible career.
She’s starred in multiple cult classics like The Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada, and Bride Wars.
Anne has also won a prestigious Oscar for her performance in the 2012 film adaptation of the musical Les Misérables.
But there’s one thing Anne hasn’t crossed off her movie “bucket list”.
“I haven’t made a great Christmas movie,” Anne recently told Women’s Wear Daily.
“I know that’s a weird bucket list thing, but I’m desperate to make a Christmas movie.”
The 42-year-old also said that she’d love to be directed by either Emma Seligman or Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Anne then articulated how thankful she is for her career thus far. Especially as when she first started out she was told her career would end when she hit 35.
“There’s a lot of different ways your career can go as an actor, and I’m very, very, very aware of that… I’m genuinely amazed that this is the version that I’m having,” Anne said.
“I am very excited to work for a company that wants to have a 40-year-old woman as their face. And by the way, 40 years old does not have to be the ceiling,” she added, referencing that she became the face of Versace last year.
“I love to work with people who love you back, and it’s amazing to be seen by people who are looking for someone like you.”
Not to speculate, but we’d love to see Anne in a Christmas movie. Maybe she could star in the rumoured Love Actually sequel or the potential The Holiday sequel…
