The 2026 season of Australian Survivor: Redemption is over, with the winner revealed in a nailbiting finale.
Redemption began with 24 castaways hoping to outsmart each other to win Sole Survivor. After some intense challenges and shock twists, the final two were determined.
These final two were none other than Caleb Beeby and Jackson Goonrey. Viewers and jury members alike thought final three castaway Lauren ‘Loz’ Mac would be in the grand finale given her “beautiful bond” with Caleb.

But in the final challenge, where they balanced on very narrow pegs on hanging tree roots, Caleb won the immunity necklace and voted Loz out.
It was a risky move considering the power of determining the winner of Australian Survivor shifted to the jury. And, Loz’s haunting glare directed towards Caleb during the final vote was enough to frighten us through the screen!
“The very people you voted out of the game are now deciding who’s going to win,” host David Genat shared.
Jackson and Caleb both pitched why they should win. With Jackson reflecting on his strategy.
“I played a big flashy game,” he said. “My problem is when people hide in numbers.”
Unfortunately, his pitch just wasn’t enough… because Caleb was declared the winner of Australian Survivor: Redemption by just one point.
“Being crowned sole Survivor is not just a title it’s an identity and I’ll be sitting here waiting…. keeping the crown warm until the next person can come and take it off my head,” Caleb shared.

As the Sole Survivor, the Melbourne-born truck driver will take home an incredible $500,000 in prize money.
“Redemption means everything. I’m here to show the world that I’ve got something to offer, that I’m not just Caleb who sits in a truck every day, that I can be the man of my dreams,” he previously shared.
Heading into the competition, Caleb felt that people may underestimate him – seeing the tattooed 28-year-old guy with a rat’s tail. A mistake that no one will ever make again!
As the 13th winner of Survivor, Caleb joins the ranks of season 12’s Myles Kuah, Olympic pole vaulter and season ten winner Liz Parnov, and season six Sole Survivor Pia Miranda.
But with this being the final episode, this also marks the end of David Genat’s first season as host of Australian Survivor. And it seems the Golden God will return for the 2027 season, because he revealed one final twist… The next season of Australian Survivor will be filmed in Malaysia with a world-first theme never seen before.
