Bec and Lleyton Hewitt are undeniably one of Australia’s golden couples, but they’re also the proud parents of three kids!
Back in early 2005, Bec and Lleyton shared they were engaged after just six weeks of dating.
And if that wasn’t whirlwind enough, shortly after that, on May 5, 2005, the couple announced that they were expecting.
Bec and Lleyton ultimately tied the knot on July 21, 2005, and then welcomed their first child four months later.
How many kids do Bec and Lleyton Hewitt have?
Today, Bec and Lleyton share three kids. Meet them all below…
Mia Hewitt
Mia Rebecca Hewitt was born on November 29, 2005.
Today, the 20-year-old is pursuing a music career and performs around Sydney with her folk-rock duo, Father’s Favourite.
Mia also works in the wardrobe department of the television series Home and Away, the same show that catapulted her mother to fame.
Cruz Hewitt
Cruz Hewitt was born on December 11, 2008.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Cruz has demonstrated significant potential in tennis. In August 2024, at age 15, he secured his first professional main draw victory at an ITF M15 event in Bali, defeating Thijmen Loof 6–4, 6–4. He was also selected to represent Australia in the 2024 Junior Davis Cup.
In January 2025, Cruz received a wildcard entry into the Australian Open qualifying rounds. He faced former world No. 16 Nikoloz Basilashvili, and although he lost the match, his performance was praised – commentators noted his impressive forehand. Then in July 2025, Cruz won his debut Wimbledon match against Savva Rybkin 6–1, 6–2 in the boys’ singles draw. His win came 23 years after his father won the Wimbledon men’s singles title! At this stage, he held an ATP ranking of 734. But as of July 2026, Cruz moved to an incredible 606.
Sadly, he was knocked out in the first qualifying rounds for the Australian Open 2026 by world number 174, Michael Zheng. It’s the second year in a row the 17-year-old was knocked out in the qualifying rounds.
In that same year, Cruz was on the verge of becoming Australia’s first winner of the Wimbledon junior men’s tournament for 15 years but unfortunately lost to American Jordan Lee. It was a disappointing end to the two-hour and three-minute final, with Cruz consoled by his parents Lleyton and Bec, and his coaching team.
However, most recently Cruz Hewitt has achieved the biggest win of his young career, claiming his first ATP Tour main-draw victory at the Mubadala DC Open in Washington. The victory follows a breakout month in which Hewitt reached the Wimbledon boys’ singles final.
Depending on results, Cruz could face fellow Australian Alex de Minaur in the second round. It’s a matchup Cruz has described as special because Alex has been a mentor and close family friend.
Ava Hewitt
Ava Sydney Hewitt was born on October 19, 2010.
And while she’s only 15 years old, Ava has already ventured into the entertainment industry.
She has appeared in television commercials for brands like Target and Wonder White and is a regular host of Nickelodeon’s Nick News Australia.
Ava is also a keen dancer and gymnast.
