Australian comedy legend, Denise Scott, is heading back on tour with her first solo comedy show in over a decade: Tickety Boo.
Following the announcement, Denise shared a video on her Instagram saying, “Slap my face, I don’t believe it… There’s a lot to talk about, trust me.”
Denise will be bringing her new material on the road from February 2026. Tickety Boo will go to:

Ahead of the premiere of the second season of Mother and Son, we also asked Denise about her comedy circuit plans.
She said that her time away, coupled with her cancer treatment, has made her “more liberated”. Furthermore, she is less concerned about success and other people’s opinions.
“I really think, ‘Oh, what the f**k does it matter?’” she giggled. “I don’t feel obliged to prove myself. And up until cancer, that’s what I still felt I had to do. Now I feel like I can just get out there and be funny or share a story, and I feel much more at ease with that.”
Denise’s comedy has always been witty, woman-centric, and cuttingly honest. We can expect that and more in her upcoming shows.
“I think older women talking, in general, is kind of a revelation because you don’t see it all that much,” she said, “and because we’re at an age where we do say what we think.”
Following her three years of hell, she’s back to share her experiences with a wider audience.
“It’s a very powerful thing that’s happened in that it feels like anything I’ve talked about on stage, before cancer, is now pretty irrelevant,” Denise said of the new show.
Furthermore, Tickety Boo is promising a story packed with Denise’s “trademark observational comedy with reflections on sanity, resilience, and the truly unexpected places where laughter can be found.”
