‘I have some exciting news’: Karl Stefanovic launches new project

Popular Australian journalist, Karl Stefanovic is taking his witty banter and sharp questioning to launch his very own podcast.

The Today host took to Instagram to share the surprise career move, introducing his new project called The Karl Stefanovic Show. 

“I have some pretty exciting news,” he began.”I am free and independent to talk to the people I’m curious about.”

”A few decades on the telly has given me a very good bulls**t metre – and an eye for a bloody great story. This show will be the people I know you want to hear from too – across politics, sport, business and culture.

“Unfiltered. Unscripted. Uncensored. I’ll go there. Why not? No spin. Lots of fun.”

The 51-year-old hopes to create conversations about anything and everything, revealed to news.com.au that he has “such a broad spectrum of things that I’m curious about.” 

“I don’t know what it’s about, because I don’t know what I’m about, you know, on any particular day.”

The first guest on his podcast is Australian politician, Pauline Hanson, set to go live on Sunday January 25, at 2pm AEST. The next guest appearance is UFC fighter, Alexander ‘The Volk’ Volkanovski.
