Meet the 2025 Married at First Sight participants

Beth — who’s never had a boyfriend before — is looking to settle down and share her life with someone.

She describes herself as “brutally honest” and hopes she’s paired with someone who can make her laugh.

Veronica says she’s “confident, driven and always looking to grow.”

The 32-year-old has given up on her local dating scene and is hoping the experts can match her with someone joyful and funny.

If you think Lauren looks familiar, you’re right! She married Eliot in the first episode of this year’s MAFS. 

However, she left the show early on in the season after Eliot dumped her on the second day of their honeymoon… Lauren is now returning as an intruder (and let’s hope her chaotic sister returns).

A self-declared romantic, Clint is looking for someone who’s “empathetic, affectionate and driven.”

Teejay, who describes himself as a “loving, caring and tentative partner,” is ready to settle down and become a dad. 

The 28-year-old is one of seven siblings but the only single one, and he hopes the MAFS experts can help him find true love. 

Surprise, surprise. Eliot is also returning as an intruder. 

As aforementioned, he left this season of MAFS early on after dumping Lauren on day two of their honeymoon. 

Ash describes herself as “playful and caring” and hopes to meet someone honest, warm, and kind. 

Keep an eye out for Awhina, she’s been described as one of this year’s “most opinionated brides”. Furthermore, she’s very close with her twin Cleo and is the proud mother of a six-year-old son. 

Carina’s looking for a man who is “tall, handsome, European and educated.” She also wants him to fit in with her large traditional Italian family. 

If Jacqui looks familiar, it’s likely because she won the title of Miss New Zealand in 2012. The certified yoga teacher, who also has a double degree in law and finance with first-class honours in law, is hoping to finally settle down. 

“Feisty and passionate” is how Jamie, who hails from a big Greek family, describes herself. This year’s youngest MAFS bride, Jamie wants a husband who’s patient and kind but covered in tattoos. 

Katie admits that she’s not good at dating. The CEO feels like she scares off potential suitors with her success and bold personality. So, hopefully, the MAFS team set her up with someone who doesn’t scare easily. 

Lauren is looking for a “real man” and won’t settle for less. But the successful business owner is also hoping MAFS will help her improve her communication skills, noting that she’s aware that she can come across as standoffish. 

Self-proclaimed “firecracker” Morena is looking for love, seven years after her 29-year marriage ended. To that end, the mum of two is hoping the experts match her with a king who will treat her like a queen. 

Rhi, who says she’s never really been in love, is hoping to find a man with a warm heart and kind eyes. 

The longest relationship Sierah has ever had only lasted four months! The “outspoken, brazen and resilient” bride wants a kind, caring, and compassionate man.  

When it comes to looks and personality, Adrian rates himself a perfect ten. He’s looking for an open and honest woman who can bring out his romantic side. 

Billy is a self-proclaimed “mummy’s boy” and says his mum is his best friend. The plasterer is hoping to find “miss perfect” during his MAFS journey. 

“Caring, thoughtful, respectful, and a little bit goofy” is how Dave describes himself. And the friendly giant (he’s 200cm/6’7 tall) wants a funny girl. 

Eliot aspires to have a family and is looking for a classy woman who will soften his hard edges. 

Nerdy Jake is a big fan of anime, computer games, and karaoke. The 30-year-old PE teacher hopes to find someone who is on the same “wavelength” as him. 

Jeff, who calls himself a “softie” and “down-to-earth,” wants a partner with similar values and interests to his own. 

Paul’s parents have been married for 40 years. That’s the kind of relationship the self-proclaimed “hopeless romantic” is looking for. 

Priding himself on planning the perfect date, Ryan is sick of putting effort in and not having it reciprocated. The 36-year-old describes himself as a warrior who wants to get the most out of life.

Tim says he’s unlucky in love. The teacher, who described himself as “chilled and laid back”, just wants a caring partner. 

Tony is looking for a genuine and supportive partner. The 53-year-old, who’s been married twice before, loves entertaining and bringing people together so will need someone not averse to hosting!

The new season of Married at First Sight will premiere on Nine and 9Now on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 7.30pm.
