While Australia knows Pat Cummins as a cricketing legend, his family life with wife Rebecca ‘Becky’ and two kids is more humble.
In November 2021, Pat made history as the first fast bowler to captain Australia’s Test team. But the 32-year-old made his debut for Australia back in 2011.
Through all the ups and downs of his career, his loving wife Becky has stood closely by his side.

How did Pat Cummins and his wife, Becky meet?
Pat and Becky were just 20 and 22 respectively when they met one fateful night in Kings Cross, the hub of Sydney’s nightlife.
In 2013, they struck up a conversation with one another at a bar before going to McDonald’s.
Given Becky is from Yorkshire, England, she didn’t know about Pat’s sporting career. And he wasn’t inclined to tell her either.
“The first couple of times I met Becky, I told her I was a uni student because, technically, I was. I left out the cricket part,” Pat told The Age. “Then one day, a few weeks after we started dating, she walked past a KFC in the city, and on the front was me wearing a bucket hat.”
When did Pat and Becky Cummins marry?
After seven years of dating, Pat dropped to one knee and popped the question. Becky took to Instagram in February 2020 to reveal the exciting news.
“My forever person @patcummins30 💍💍 I am the happiest girl in the world right now !!” she captioned the post.
Unfortunately, their wedding bliss was majorly delayed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. While the world halted, their relationship milestones certainly didn’t as Becky confirmed her pregnancy with the first baby Cummins in April 2021.
On July 29, 2022, Pat and Becky said ‘I do’ in a lavish Byron Bay wedding.
Does Pat Cummins have any kids?
Eight years into their relationship, Becky fell pregnant with their first baby. On April 23, 2021, she revealed the exciting news.
“I can’t hide this happiness any longer!! ☺️Baby Boston Cummins will be joining us in Spring 🌸 we are SO excited to meet you!!! 👶🏼” she captioned the announcement.
A few months later, the pair welcomed their first born son Albie.
“We did it. I still can’t believe we made this little person! Hands down the hardest, craziest, happiest, most beautiful, amazing, challenging, magical 2 weeks of my life,” Becky wrote, announcing his arrival in October 2021.
Albie wasn’t quite one-years-old when Pat and Becky wed.
“So lucky to have our baby boy with us on our big day 🤍 couldn’t have asked for anything more ✨,” she wrote.
The latest arrival to the family was Edith, born February 2025.
“She’s here. Our beautiful baby girl, Edi 🩷Edith Maria Boston Cummins. Words can’t describe how overjoyed & full of love we feel right now,” Becky wrote.
The parents confirmed “more craziness” would be joining the family back in August 2024.
