Ronan Keating may have captured the attention of The Voice Australia fans when he was announced as a judge, but his career and love life has interested many for decades.
His moment in the spotlight began in the 90s as the lead singer of the Irish pop band Boyzone, before going solo, releasing ‘When You Say Nothing At All‘, which featured in Notting Hill.
Boyzone fans were over the moon upon discovering the boy band would return for a one-off stadium show in June. Four band members, including Mikey Graham who claimed to have a strained relationship with Ronan, would be joining the show.
Unfortunately, their fifth member, Stephen Gately, passed away aged just 33 in October 2009 due to an undiagnosed congenital heart defect, which led to pulmonary oedema.

Outside of the spotlight, Ronan has been married twice and has five beautiful children.

Who is Ronan Keating’s first wife?
Before Ronan found fame, he met his first wife Yvonne Connolly through mutual friends.
Yvonne was an Irish model and is now a TV Broadcaster, cook and columnist. Her first appearance on TV was Celebrity MasterChef Ireland in 2013.
The pair married young, Ronan was 21 years old and Yvonne was 24 years old when she walked down the aisle in April 1998.
During their twelve years of marriage, Ronan and Yvonne welcomed three children together. Their first born was son Jack, born shortly after their wedding in March 1999.
Their second child was daughter Missy, who was born in February 2001. Lastly is Ali who rounded out the family in September 2005.
However, their relationship came to an end in 2010. Yvonne reportedly found out her ex-husband was making phone calls to an unknown number when she was packing up the families belongings to move house. Ronan was allegedly having an affair with the Boyzone backup dancer, Francine Cornell.

Ronan and Yvonne’s divorce was finalised in 2015.
But Yvonne found love in 2011 when she met John Conroy, who was the director of the film Dark Touch which Missy acted in.
She revealed to Evoke it was “love at first sight.” Yvonne and John are still together to this day, exchangin vows in a romantic New York ceremony in March 2026.
Who is Ronan Keating’s Australian wife, Storm?
Ronan is currently married to Storm, who he met while working on The X Factor Australia in 2011 where she was a producer.
Storm, now 43, grew up in Papua New Guinea before moving to rural Australia.
When her love story with Ronan began to blossom, Storm admitted to Evoke it was the first risk she’s ever taken.
“I was a very straight goodie two shoes, nerdy girl, and he was obviously a famous singer. However, I fell madly in love and never looked back, so it’s a risk I don’t regret of course,” she told the publication.

Ronan and Storm exchanged vows in Scotland in August 2015, with his daughter Missy as maid of honour.
In 2017, they welcomed a son Cooper and later welcomed daughter Coco in 2020.
The blended family of five appears to be very loving, as Storm has shared photos with her step-children on Instagram, with captions detailing just how much she loves them.
What happened to Ronan’s brother, Ciarán Keating?
Recently, Ronan experienced a major loss in the family: the death of his brother Ciarán. It caused a major shift for the family.
“I don’t want to be away from Storm and the kids; this has made us be together more. It works,” Ronan told Evoke.
In an interview with RTÉ (Ireland’s national broadcaster) in August 2025, Ronan shared his experience of that tragic time and how his family is pushing for harsher sentences for fatal road traffic offences.
“It will be forever etched in my brain, in my mind. What happened to Ciarán – the injustice, the heartbreak, the devastating impact it has and not just on Ciarán’s siblings but on his children, his grandchildren, his wife – you know, the ripples, it’s overwhelming. As a family, you find it hard to breathe sometimes. “
Ciarán was involved in a fatal car accident in July 2023. His car collided with another vehicle. Tragically, Ciaran died from his injuries; he was 57 years old. His wife Annemarie was also in the vehicle and had serious injuries, but recovered. The other driver, Dean Harte, has received a 17-month suspended sentence for “careless driving causing death.”
Ronan shared his reaction to the sentence in the interview as well: ” All the pain and the hurt is in losing somebody. This is just disgusting. It’s awful, this situation. You can’t get angry. You know, you’re just floored, you’re disappointed. The system is broken. So it’s up to us, the family, to try and do something about it. We won’t let this lie.”
Who are Ronan Keating’s children?
In total, Ronan has five children, sharing three with his ex-wife Yvonne and two with Storm.
Reality TV fans may recognise some of Ronan’s children as his eldest son Jack actually participated on Love Island in 2022. Jack welcomed a daughter Maya in February 2023, meaning Ronan is a grandfather!
Meanwhile, Missy competed on Dancing With The Stars in 2022. But her heart is in acting as she endeavours to take on more roles. She previously starred in Dark Touch (2013), The Sea (2013) and Gold (2014).
Ali Keating hasn’t taken the TV route however, she is an accomplished equestrian competing in various shows having began horse riding at a young age.

As for Cooper and Coco, the little ones are both under ten years old, so no TV stints – yet.
The family did temporarily relocate to Australia in 2024, undoubtedly for Ronan’s judging position on The Voice. Since moving, the four have been enjoying the Australian sun, particularly in Byron Bay.
They made a temporary home base in Dubai as Ronan stated he could be anywhere in one flight. However, the singer has reportedly purchased a five-bedroom, four-bathroom property worth $6.3 million in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
