His moment in the spotlight began in the 90s as the lead singer of the Irish pop band Boyzone, before going solo, releasing ‘When You Say Nothing At All’, which featured in Notting Hill

Boyzone fans were over the moon upon discovering the boy band would return for a one-off stadium show in June. Four band members, including Mikey Graham, who claimed to have a strained relationship with Ronan, would be joining the show.

Unfortunately, their fifth member, Stephen Gately, passed away aged just 33 in October 2009 due to an undiagnosed congenital heart defect, which led to pulmonary oedema.

Outside of the spotlight, Ronan has been married twice and has five beautiful children.

The pair married young; Ronan was 21 years old, and Yvonne was 24 years old when she walked down the aisle in April 1998.

During their twelve years of marriage, Ronan and Yvonne welcomed three children together. Their firstborn was their son Jack, born shortly after their wedding in March 1999.

Their second child was their daughter Missy, who was born in February 2001. Lastly is Ali, who rounded out the family in September 2005.

However, their relationship came to an end in 2010. Yvonne reportedly found out her ex-husband was making phone calls to an unknown number when she was packing up the family’s belongings to move house. Ronan was allegedly having an affair with the Boyzone backup dancer, Francine Cornell.

Ronan is currently married to Storm, whom he met while working on The X Factor Australia in 2011, where she was a producer.

Storm grew up in Papua New Guinea before moving to rural Australia.

What happened to Ronan’s brother, Ciarán Keating?

Recently, Ronan experienced a major loss in the family: the death of his brother Ciarán. It caused a major shift for the family.

“I don’t want to be away from Storm and the kids; this has made us be together more. It works,” Ronan told Evoke.

In an interview with RTÉ (Ireland’s national broadcaster) in August 2025, Ronan shared his experience of that tragic time and how his family is pushing for harsher sentences for fatal road traffic offences.

“It will be forever etched in my brain, in my mind. What happened to Ciarán – the injustice, the heartbreak, the devastating impact it has, not just on Ciarán’s siblings but on his children, his grandchildren, his wife – you know, the ripples, it’s overwhelming. As a family, you find it hard to breathe sometimes. “

Ciarán was involved in a fatal car accident in July 2023. His car collided with another vehicle. Tragically, Ciaran died from his injuries; he was 57 years old. His wife, Annemarie, was also in the vehicle and had serious injuries, but recovered. The other driver, Dean Harte, has received a 17-month suspended sentence for “careless driving causing death.”

Ronan shared his reaction to the sentence in the interview as well: ” All the pain and the hurt is in losing somebody. This is just disgusting. It’s awful, this situation. You can’t get angry. You know, you’re just floored, you’re disappointed. The system is broken. So it’s up to us, the family, to try and do something about it. We won’t let this lie.”

Who are Ronan Keating’s children?

In total, Ronan has five children, sharing three with his ex-wife Yvonne and two with Storm.

Reality TV fans may recognise some of Ronan’s children, as his eldest son, Jack, actually participated in Love Island in 2022. Jack welcomed a daughter, Maya, in February 2023, meaning Ronan is a grandfather!

They made a temporary home base in Dubai, as Ronan stated he could be anywhere in one flight. However, the singer has reportedly purchased a five-bedroom, four-bathroom property worth $6.3 million in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Located at Tamarama Beach, the multi-level home features an open-plan layout, a Calacatta marble kitchen, Limewashed Oak floors, and a large entertainment terrace.

In 2026, Ronan and Storm were both invited to Wimbledon. They shared some sweet snaps of the couple enjoying Pimms and holding hands in the Royal Box on their Instagram accounts.
