The fourth week on The Block 2025 has wrapped up, so how have the teams fared in the Main Bedroom and Walk-in Robe Week?
Returning to judge the rooms are Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer, and Marty Fox.
It was a whirlwind week on reality renovation competition, with lots of in-fighting, a dunk in the Daylesford lake, hard truths from Scott, a roast dinner and a promise of a roast show, plus a couple of late starts.
Despite the many hurdles, everyone completed their main bedroom and walk-in robe on The Block. Continue scrolling to see the room reveals (and this week’s winners).
Han and Can

They took the judges’ remarks about how they loved their “bold” choices in the ensuite on board for their bold blue main bedroom.
“I hate it,” is how Marty reacts. “ I actually want to vomit.”
Darren doesn’t love the colour palette, adding that the bright blue colour obfuscates the elegant elements. Shaynna does like the quirky porthole sunlights.
They do like the walk-in robe, but the three spaces together don’t work according to Shaynna. She adds that it feels like an “identity crisis”.
Overall room score: 20
Sonny and Alicia

Darren loved the lighting, and the artworks were great choices.
Marty said the room was warm and sophisticated. Shaynna did say that the entryway is a bit “corporate” and the bedside tables are too short. With the door, the judges pointed out that the door is upside down and the staining on the wooden veneer isn’t perfect.
The judges didn’t like the walk-in robe at all. After a rough few days, it’s not a great end to the week for the couple.
Overall room score: 21.5
Robby and Matt

Darren calls the paintwork “masterful” and loves the “Australiana” colour palette. However, Shaynna thinks the bed needs to be moved over, and the rug is too small.
They chose similar artwork to Han and Can! But maybe they went too hard with the Bromley artworks.
Darren likes the amount of space they’ve allocated to the dressing room. However, Marty thinks it’s missing an island in the middle. That being said, he says it’s very hard to fault.
Overall room score: 25
Emma and Ben

They had a lot of bespoke elements in their bedroom and walk-in robe. Inspired by the red marble handles in the wardrobe, they went with a burgundy colour scheme that flows on from their en suite. They have a custom headboard with an imported red marble stove.
All the judges remarked on the size of their room and said that the sunroof was the best they’ve seen this season. Shaynna says they’ve nailed the “modern den” aspect. Marty reckons buyers will love it.
But they had some negatives. Darren didn’t like how they styled the bed, saying it wasn’t “sophisticated”, but he loved the headboard, and Marty remarked that the bedside lights would knock people on their heads.
Overall, they say it’s “close to perfection.” They end up in second place again, but they are consistent!
Overall room score: 28
Britt and Taz

Darren says it’s heavenly and like walking in on a cloud, “elevated and sophisticated.” He also thought the layout was great. Shaynna loved the fireplace and complimented the artwork choices. Marty said it’s the “right rug on the right carpet”, and all the elements made you want to move in.
Shaynna had one negative: the plants! She said they didn’t add anything because of the views of nature out the window. She also didn’t like the “stupid” pendant lights.
The judges all loved the wardrobe system they put in, including the fingerprint safe.
They were on their way to a perfect 10, but it was just the ceiling paintwork and the handles on the drawers in the wardrobe were upside down.
They do score a perfect 10 from Darren, the first of the season, so they win Arnotts’ $10,000!
Britt and Taz win the week, $10,000 from MG, and they also win the CommBank’s best budget award of $10,000. So that’s an extra $30,000 in their pockets, very good results for the copper couple.
The Block airs Sundays at 7pm and continues Monday to Wednesday at 7.30pm and Sunday at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
