The Block is gearing up to return in 2025; here’s everything you need to know!
Where is the next Block in 2025?
The Block 2025 will take place in the Victorian country town, Daylesford.
The contestants will work on five homes located on Raglan Street, and these homes will form a new neighbourhood within Hygge Property’s Middleton Field – a new housing estate located in Daylesford’s east.
Who is hosting The Block 2025?
Both Scott Cam and Shelley Craft will return to host The Block this year.
Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox will also return as the judges.
Will Keith be on The Block in 2025?
Keith Schleiger – aka ‘the Blockinator’ – was not The Block’s Foreman in 2024.
He stepped down, after more than 10 years in the role, to spend more time with his wife Rebecca and their two daughters, Ebony and Jasmine.
However, Keith did make a cameo appearance in the 2024 season; it’s unclear whether he’ll do the same in 2025.
Will Dan return?
Dan Reilly took over as Foreman in 2024.
And fans weren’t sure whether Dan would return this year; on December 20, 2024, he and his wife Dani shared that their newborn baby had sadly passed away.
“It is with insurmountable grief that we share the news that our daughter Billie, has passed on from this life and into the next at just 10 days young,” Dan and Dani wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
“In Billie’s short time in this world, she taught us an intensity of both love and pain we never knew [was] possible. She taught us what really matters. Billie was so wanted, so loved and she made us parents… and what an honour it is to be her mummy and daddy. She will always be our daughter.”
But Dan is set to return as Foreman; he and Dani – and their two dogs Hazel and Olive – have already relocated to Daylesford.
Dani penned a poignant Instagram post the day she moved there.
“Today, we (me, Hazel and Olive) relocated to Daylesford to be with Dan while he films the next Block. As you can imagine, this next period was supposed to be something it’s now not,” Dani began.
“We were so excited for this three month adventure with our little family… Billie had the cutest little wardrobe ready to roll too. So many things like this that actually don’t (and never did) really matter,” she continued.
“The hardest part of the next three months will now be surrendering to what this time actually is in real time, and not holding expectations or resentment about what it’s now not.”
Who are the contestants on The Block Daylesford?
The contestants have not yet been announced; watch this space!
Although, it has been confirmed that Married at First Sight (MAFS) participant Dave Thomas Hand will make a cameo on The Block 2025.
Dave will appear as a tradesman helping the contestants; unsurprising as he works as a caulking specialist and owns his own business, Silicone Valley Caulking.
