Love is in the air on The Block, because 2025 sweethearts Emma and Ben have welcomed their first baby together.
The couple revealed their bubs arrival in an interview with Woman’s Day, confirming the little boy arrived on September 25.

The baby’s name is Bailey Colter Cox.
“We’re so overjoyed,” the new mum confessed to the publication.
“When my waters broke, I went in for monitoring and they were like, ‘Oh, it might be, it might not be. But we’ll try and push you out though because you’re pretty early.'”
“He really just didn’t want to miss the auction,” Emma said given the bub was due October 28, three days after The Block auction. “He was so determined to come into this world.”
The lovebirds revealed Emma was 12 weeks pregnant in the 20th episode on the Channel Nine renovation series, teasing a very emotional phone call they’d just received.
“Are you okay Ben?” an emotional Emma is seen calling out for her husband, before giggling, “I don’t think he’s okay.”

“We got some pretty big news. We’re having a baby,” a cheerful Emma told the producers, with Ben smiling by her side. “I’m going to cry.”
Ben added the phone call revealed the gender of their baby, “we just found out we’re gonna have a boy.”
“We’re both over the moon.”
They weren’t the only ones overjoyed by the news! Host Scotty Cam embraced and shared his congratulations.
“I’m going to be a granddad again,” he joked, before suggesting the bub be named Scotty.
The pair knew they were going to have a baby before joining the competition, revealing: “We found out we were pregnant the same day that Scotty called us to let us know we were on The Block.”

Emma, 33, and Ben, 32, celebrated their third year wedding anniversary while competing on The Block. But they’ve been talking about having a baby for a year now.
“We’ve been together 14 years, but three years married,” Emma said, similarly to their competitors Sonny and Alicia who have also been together for 14 years.
With Ben adding, “But we’ve known each other for even longer.”
The pair met before high school at the “blue light disco” where “Ben was cutting shapes on the dance floor.”
“I was like, ‘that guy, I will marry him one day’,” she laughed.
Their relationship was purely platonic for many years until Year 12, and began a romantic relationship in 2011.
If that isn’t enough to make you swoon, Emma is Ben’s “one and only girlfriend.”
