Where will Season 4 of The White Lotus be filmed?
Bonjour! The fourth season of The White Lotus has begun filming on the French Riveria in Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Monaco. Additonal filming will take place in Paris, however, the story will remain along the Côte d’Azur.
But it wouldn’t be The White Lotus without a five star hotel. This season will be filmed at Château de la Messardière, a beautiful 19th-century castle in Saint-Tropez, France.
Château de la Messardière’s facilities include a tennis court, a luxurious swimming pool, lush gardens and a collection of Rolls-Royce cars that take guests around the region.
“For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the ‘crashing waves against rocks’ vernacular,” Mike White said in a video shared by HBO Max in April 2025.
For the Cannes scenes – which will take place during the iconic Cannes Film Festival – filming will take place at Hôtel Martinez.
When does The White Lotus season four release?
Unfortunately, HBO has not confirmed exactly when the fourth season of The White Lotus will release.
However, it is expected to drop in late 2026 or early 2027.
Are White Lotus seasons connected?
Yes, The White Lotus seasons are loosely connected.
Each season features a new resort location and mostly new characters, but there are a few recurring characters across seasons.
For instance, Greg – played by Jon Gries – appears in all three seasons. Tanya – played by Jennifer Coolidge – appears in Seasons 1 and 2. And Belinda – played by Natasha Rothwell – appears in Season 1 and Season 3.
