After a successful run at Dancing with The Stars, Robert Irwin is set to host a new spin-off series: Dancing with The Stars: The Next Pro.
Clearly, Hulu recognised his hosting talents as host of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Australia. There’s no news if this will impact his appearance on the Aussie show.

“I am so excited to be back with my ballroom family to host this new era of DWTS,” Robert wrote on Instagram. “Witney and I took a little detour from the DWTS live tour to make the exciting announcement.”
Dancer and head judge of Strictly Dancing, Shirley Ballas, announced Hulu’s Get Real event. She will be a judge on the new show along with her son, Mark Ballas.
“The greatest dancers will compete for a spot as the next pro,” Robert says in the show’s first teaser.
Robert and his dancing partner, Witney, are currently on tour with Dancing with The Stars following his Mirrorball Trophy win.
His win came ten years after his eldest sister, Bindi Irwin, won the Mirrorball Trophy. She was just 17 years old at the time. Following his win, Robert made a touching tribute to his sister.

“My family moved all the way out from Australia for 3 months to support me and be there for me every step of the way. Bindi, you inspired me to embark on this adventure, and I have you to thank for setting me on the course to take this remarkable journey.”
Robert became a quick fan favourite in his winning season. Now, Hulu is making him a more permanent feature in the Dancing with The Stars universe.
Dancing with The Stars: The Next Pro premieres on 13 July 2026 on ABC and Hulu. There’s no word on whether it will be available to watch in Australia.
