Of all the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet moments that we adored, from Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford‘s cutesy canoodling to Kate Hudson’s dramatic cape, one moment stood out for fans of Englishman Tom Holland and his paramour, the endlessly talented Zendaya.
The American actress, model, and singer was expected to attend the 2026 Actor Awards, but she and her fiancé were nowhere to be seen. However, her stylist, Law Roach, did attend and when asked where his muse was, and whether he would be styling her for her upcoming nuptials, he responded: “You missed it!”
“It’s very true,” he added to Access Hollywood. “The wedding has already happened.”
The couple are notoriously private about their relationship. They never actually officially announced their engagement. Instead, Zendaya wore a large diamond ring on her ring finger at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, instantly sparking engagement rumours. TMZ then confirmed the news the next day, citing sources close to Zendaya and Tom Holland.
However, Tom himself confirmed the news in September 2025, when he corrected a reporter who called Zendaya his girlfriend, “Fiancée” he responded.

The two met and became friends on the set of Marvel’s major franchise, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tom in the lead role and Zendaya in an updated version of MJ from the comic books. Despite rumours that the two were dating, they maintained that they were just friends for a year until they were spotted kissing in a car in 2021.
In an interview with GQ magazine in November 2025, Tom and Zendaya shared the difficulties of maintaining a romance while in the public eye.
“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore,” Tom said in the interview. “A moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”
“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own,” Zendaya added. “I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”

So, did Tom Holland and Zendaya get married without any of us noticing?
After months of prodding Zendaya during her historic 2026 press run promoting projects including The Drama, Euphoria and now Spider-Man: Brand New Day, it was Tom Holland who finally addressed the rumours.
Following Law’s impromptu announcement at the 2026 Actor Awards, AI-generated wedding photos of the couple started flooding the internet. During an interview with Esquire, Tom was asked whether he had had to send out messages to his family to warn them. His response?
“No, because they were all there.”
While the Spidey star refrained from sharing details from the big day, he did open up about his relationship with the Hollywood actress.
“Our business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” Tom said. “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”
A relationship in the public eye is not without its challenges, but for Tom, he says he’s found his “person.”
“She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
