A feature-length documentary starring King Charles III is arriving on screens worldwide this February, showcasing the monarch’s lifelong mission to protect the environment and conserve it for future generations.
The Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision world premiere took place in late January 2026 at Windsor Castle’s historic Waterloo Chamber, the first time a film has debuted at a royal residence. The King and Queen Camilla hosted a star-studded audience, including Kate Winslet, Stanley Tucci, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Sir Rod Stewart, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Dame Judi Dench.

At the event, Charles spoke candidly about his lifelong commitment to environmental causes and reiterated his hope that the film will inspire public awareness and action.
What is King Charles’ documentary about?
Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision delves into His Majesty’s core philosophy of ‘Harmony’: the belief that humanity is part of nature, not separate from it. The film presents his environmental journey from decades past to the present day, showing how his ideas have evolved and why they matter now more than ever.
It also depicts the early scepticism and even derision the then-prince faced when he shared his support and enthusiasm for organic farming and environmental science.

Rather than being a standard biographical documentary, the film weaves together archival footage and contemporary interviews to show how Charles championed causes like organic farming, biodiversity, sustainable living, and traditional skills long before they were mainstream. One focus is the sustainable community regeneration project at Dumfries House in Scotland.
It was produced in collaboration with The King’s Foundation and Prime Video, and is being released globally on Amazon Prime Video on 6 February 2026.

Who is in the documentary?
King Charles is obviously the star of the show. However, it is narrated by Academy Award-winning actor Kate Winslet.
Prince William appears in archival clips from his childhood and as a young adult, including moments on family estates like Home Farm. Prince Harry also makes a surprise cameo in archival footage as a child fishing with his father. The king’s grandchildren, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, also appear in archival footage, notably in clips from Charles’s 2023 coronation. Queen Elizabeth II is also included in the archival footage in the documentary.
The documentary also incorporates insights from experts, including Tony Juniper (an environmental expert and former head of Friends of the Earth) and Emily Shuckburgh (a climate scientist and director of Cambridge Zero at the University of Cambridge).
