Lady Kitty Spencer secretly welcomes baby girl

The socialite and model dropped the news in a surprise Instagram post.

Lady Kitty Spencer has secretly welcomed a baby with husband Michael Lewis!

Kitty, who is the daughter of Earl Charles Spencer and niece of the late Princess Diana, dropped the surprise news to her Instagram followers in a gushing Mother’s Day post which featured a sweet video of her cradling her baby on the beach.

“It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one,” the caption read underneath the video clip.

“I love you unconditionally 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today 🤍,” she added.

In the video clip, Kitty, who is a model and socialite, wears a sleek white swimsuit whilst walking along the beach with the baby.

Kitty’s twin sisters also gushed over the new addition to the family under the post writing sweet comments to their new niece.

“My perfect little niece,” Eliza Spencer wrote under the post.

“The most perfect angel in the world,” Amelia Spencer added.

Kitty’s baby girl will be distant cousins to Princess Catherine and Prince William’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as well Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The surprise birth announcement comes three years on from Kitty’s wedding to husband Michael Lewis, 65, in an opulent ceremony in Rome. The Italian nuptials saw the socialite don five stunning Dolce & Gabbana gowns across the evening.

Kitty married South African businessman Michael Lewis in a highly-publicised wedding, which took place three years after the couple went public with their romance in 2018.

Whilst the wedding was one of the highlights of the years, there was one major absent figure from the wedding – the Spencer tiara.

The tiara, which is a Spencer family heirloom, was worn by Princess Diana on her wedding day to the then-Prince Charles in 1981. As well as this, the heirloom was also worn by Diana’s mother, and her two older sisters, Lady Sarah Spencer and Lady Jane Spencer.

However, Lady Kitty Spencer seemed to forego the family heirloom in favour of a more understated look for her wedding day.
