Nothing compares to the five-day social spectacle that is Royal Ascot.
It truly is the annual event of the season as Britain’s finest in racing, hospitality, class and style put only their best on display for a single week in June.
For the royal family Royal Ascot follows some of the largest public-facing events of the year including Trooping the Colour and the Order of the Garter.
What is Royal Ascot?
Ascot Racecourse was first founded by Queen Anne in 1711 who adored riding. With many Kings and Queens since having stock in racehorses, it was only fitting that in 1911 the Ascot summer race meeting became a dedicated week to royal racing.
Of course, the most eagerly anticipated attendees are the Royal family. However, after a difficult year for His Majesty King Charles and Princess Catherine, the number of family members who would be present was heavily speculated.
What are the dates for Royal Ascot 2024?
This year, Royal Ascot runs from June 18-22.
There are a few standout race days, including King George V Stakes, Diamond Jubilee Stakes, Windsor Castle Stakes and the Gold Cup. The third day of the event has also fondly been coined, Ladies Day.
Which royals are attending Royal Ascot 2024?
Historically, every day of Royal Ascot is attended by members of the Royal family. This year is shaping up to be no different with a huge display of attendance by royals already on day one.

His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla
King Charles looked very dapper indeed with his yellow waistcoat. His tie paired perfectly with the royal blue dress worn by Queen Camilla, which she accessorised with a blue hat and the Prince Albert diamond and sapphire brooch.

Queen Camilla sported a lace panel Dior dress and bag as she attended Royal Ascot day two solo. Her turquoise and diamond brooch once again belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth.

The King and Queen also joined on Ladies Day at Royal Ascot. King Charles opted for a grey suit, while Queen Camilla wore a beautiful white dress.

Day four of Royal Ascot saw Queen Camilla wear a grey-blue Anna Valentine mid-length dress, and a Philip Treacy feather hat in the same colourway.
Once again she paid homage to her late mother-in-law by wearing Queen Elizabeth’s Jardine Star Brooch, and the Queen Mother’s Cartier bracelet.
King Charles wore a grey suit with a pink waistcoat and pocket square.

On the final day of the prestigious royal event, the King and Queen kept it simple with neutral tones.
Queen Camilla, wore a blush pink Dior dress along with an ivory hat made by Royal Ascot favourite, Philip Treacy.
King Charles wore a grey suit and waistcoat, adding a little depth with a light purple shirt and tie, topping his outfit off with a purple boutonniere.

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall
Royal power couple Zara and Mike Tindall always dress to perfection when it comes to racewear.
Zara opted for a summery yellow Laura Green mid-length dress with a gold boater Sarah Cant hat. Mike kept it classic with a black tailcoat, pinstripe pants and a top hat. He even added a yellow boutonniere to compliment his wife’s outfit.

On Day two, the couple looked very on trend. Zara wore a floral printed midi-dress from Anna Mason London with a headpiece from Juliette Millinery, suede pumps from Emmy London and a tassel clutch from Anya Hindmarch. Mike kept with the dresscode in tails and tophat, with a pink tie and purple waistcoat to match his stylish wife. kept it classic with a black tailcoat, pinstripe pants and a top hat.

On Ladies Day, the couple opted for complementary cool tones. Mike wore a grey three piece suit, and Zara wore a Rebecca Valance belted midi dress and Sarah Cant Millinery hat.

Princess Eugenie & Jack Brooksbank
Blink and you may have missed her!
Princess Eugenie mingled with her family, wearing a mid-length mint green Diane von Furstenberg dress. She paired it with an Emily London Headwear piece, a brand she and her sister Princess Beatrice have regularly worn.

For day two, the Princess attended with her husband, Jack Brooksbank and wore a white knit dress from Gagriela Hearst, pink hat from Emily London Headwear and a tassel clutch from Anya Hindmarch.

Anne, Princess Royal
Princess Anne’s racewear never disappoints. The Princess Royal opted for a Shibumi red embroidered Nehru coat and matching cashmere shawl. She paired this with royal blue shoes and gloves, and an aqua hat that tied in with some of the coat detailing.

On day two, the Princess was spotted with her daughter, Zara Tindall, wearing a blue and white ensemble.

Princess Anne attended Ladies Day at Royal Ascot wearing a blue brocade ensemble, alongside her cousin, Lady Sarah Chatto.

Lady Gabriella Kingston
Lady Gabriella Kingston made her first public-facing appearance since the passing of her husband, Thomas Kingston.
Looking as radiant as ever, she wore a floral Catherine Walker & Co dress, nude pink pumps and a Philip Treacy hat in a similar colourway.

Prince Philippos & Princess Nina
Prince Philippos and Princess Nina of Greece were spotted amongst the crowds of British nobility.
The son of the late King Constantine II and his wife nailed British racewear, with the Prince opting for a dark grey tail coat and trousers, a navy blue waistcoat and a black top hat. The Princess wore a long-sleeved yellow mid-length dress with white lace detailing, white heels and a matching boat hat.

Peter Phillip was seen riding with his mother Princess Anne. The British businessman wore a black suit and beige waistcoat. Similar to other royal men in attendance, Phillip wore a blue shirt and tie and opted for a simple white carnation as a boutonniere

Harriet Sperling and Peter Phillips attend day four looking very loved up.
Harriet opted for a pale pink Beulah London bow dress and beige fascinator, while her boyfriend Peter wore a black tailcoat and grey waistcoat, a pink shirt, a light purple tie and a traditional top hat.

The Duchess of Gloucester wore a blue mid-length dress paired with a pearl necklace, and a headband fascinator in the same colourway. Her husband kept things traditional with a black waistcoat, grey top hat and pinstripe pants.

The Duchess of Edinburgh was all smiles as she attended day two of Royal Ascot in the most beautiful, floral dress from Suzannah London. She paired the ornate white dress with a crescent shoulder bag from Strathberry and a JT Millinery hat.
