Women’s singles world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka travels around the globe to compete in tennis, and cheering her on from the sidelines is partner Georgios Frangulis.
Their relationship was taken to the next level when Aryna announced their engagement on Instagram.
Dressed in jeans and a simple white tee, Aryna appeared completely surprised when Georgios greeted her with bushels of roses in a candlelit courtyard and got down on one knee.
The pair were first spotted together in April 2024. Later in August, the Belarusian tennis player revealed to People that Georgios had been by her side during “a really tough period” following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov.
With countless interviews, courtside encouragement and partnerships under their belt, it’s clear Aryna and Georgios are head-over-heels for one another.
Now, Aryna is taking the 2026 French Open by storm. However, avid tennis fans broke for Aryna when she confessed she’d “just want to quit tennis right now,” following her loss.
But, with every killer serve or hilarious moment – including when she asked Roger Federer for a selfie while he was in the crowd watching her game at the AO – viewers are wanting to learn more about Aryna and her entrepreneur partner.
“We’ll see in few days. Hopefully I’ll get back on track mentally,” she added. “You know those rooms where you just go in and you smash everything? Probably I will spend a whole day tomorrow over there destroying stuff. Maybe it will help, maybe not.”

The pair met in January 2024 when she became a brand ambassador for Oakberry, the company founded by Georgios. Oakberry is a superfood brand specialising in acai products.

Aryna made the relationship Instagram official in July 2024, captioning a mirror selfie (above) with Georgios, “Out & about”. Since then, Aryna has shared many loved-up pictures together from their travels across the globe.

Who is Georgios Frangulis?
Georgios is a Brazilian entrepreneur, born in Sao Paolo. In 2016, he founded Oakberry which now has over 700 stores across more than 40 countries.
According to Driver Database, as per People, Georgios has a keen interest in motorsports, competing in more than 100 races of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge.
